Could it be an ADHD trait to have difficulties learning lessons (even life lessons) and improving? Like you need to make a same mistake several times to finally understand what's wrong and then having also difficulties with changing that.

If you're comfortable answering this: how does Ash experience dysphoria (if they experience any)?

its probably a combination of sex dysphoria & body dysmorphia but nothing on their body feels right or desirable to them - they feel the only use the sex characteristics they have (genitals, fat distribution.. etc) is for sex appeal and gaining the attention of others

while they dislike their body and feel a strong discomfort because of their features, they do want to keep it if only for exploiting it 

the part they have the most confusion and discomfort over is genitals, so in some of their monster/unstable bodies, they do have nothing between their legs or they have a mouth between their legs. the Pros Of Being A Shape Shifter
