Also, I can just imagine like, Ron and Zita trudging to Bueno Nacho after Virtu Ron and like meeting with Kim and Rufus and the four of them just like semiexhaustedly eating late night fast food.

Also, Wade in the virtual world has a “stop hitting yourself” thing at someone and like, I just realized... the twins did that to Snotlout in Defenders of Berk! Ah!

Virtu-Ron 

This episode is about mmorpgs? South Park did an amazing one in 2006 called Make Love Not Warcraft but THIS ISN’T ABOUT SOUTH PARK. 

Wraithmaster looks weirdly familiar? Is it based off anything? That thing from the first Thor movie? (Even though this predates that.) Though this could be because I’ve seen this episode more than a few times since 2003. It’s probable I saw this the day it aired? But honestly I’ve no idea. It came out shortly before I was like I LOVE KIM POSSIBLE SO MUCH (a feeling that has not changed in almost 14 years). 

Kim is having pre-dinner dinner at BN because her dad’s bringing home experimental astronaut food. Oh sure, let your family be the guinea pigs.

I love that Ron tells the ladies (Kim and Monique) that its time to take it to the next level with Zita. And Kim, MOUTH FULL OF BURRITO, NOT EVEN COVERING HER MOUTH, ASKS WHAT HE’S GOING TO DO. I love this.

Danny Cooksey in this episode. His credits include Dave the Barbarian (he was that character), Terminator 2 (the “Your foster parents are kinda dicks” kid), Salute Your Shorts (which I kinda remember??? It was on Nickelodeon at the time I watched that channel in the 90s.), among many others. 

The guy that plays Wraithmaster/Malcolm is Martin Spanjers and he is born the same year as me, which means he would have been high school aged in 2003 when this aired. He was in 8 Simple Rules around the same time too. (Which, uh, John Ritter died the day before this episode aired.)

Ron, you’ve never played this game, don’t lie.

Ron just hung out in Kim’s room whilst she dealt with astronaut food.

Ron’s virtual self is dressed like Barney Rubble. Which is bad. You don’t wanna be that asshole.

Ron suggests to Zita that they go to Bueno Nacho later.

Ron doesn’t tell Rufus to clean up his act while eating around Kim. Snort. Sorry, Kim.

Ron realizes the thing that he and Zita go to is not good and then they get hooked into the thing. Now they’re actually in Everlot. Digital immortality in a way?

Kim is already asleep and Rufus shows up and she reacts. 

Haha, Kim calls Wade and Wade’s like “you must be psychic i was just going to call”. The site got a hit but Kim says that they can take a number lol because Ron’s MIA.

The Doctor at Everlot is Malcolm’s dad and he’s played by Stephen Root who has his talents in SO MUCH STUFF I LOVE. He’s Lynn Boyle in B99, he’s Mildew in Riders/Defenders of Berk, Bud Gleeful in Gravity Falls, just to name a couple. 

I think the virtual cap/immersion stuff in this episode is pretty close to some of the tech we have now maybe idek.

“Are all girls like this or just the ones I know?” Ron asks about young women who take action. 

Ron asks Zita if she has a bobby pin and Zita’s like “I don’t know. Let me ask my grandmother.”

Rufus gets tired of watching Kim try to deal with this shit and leaves. He goes to Kim’s brothers, who are currently talking about if one can change the weather. I mean... Ororo Munroe can.

Rufus is the Tunnel Lord.

Rufus and Wraithmaster make their swords bigger. I’m not getting into that. Freud’s ghost wants to become more powerful. 

Ron suggests to the other players that the guy captured to pass their powers to Zita (and is like no don’t give them to me I’m a newbie). 

Zita defeats the bad guy. Rufus impressed Zita, not Ron. Whoops. 

And just before they exit the virtual world, Kim, Ron, and Zita make plans to go to Bueno Nacho. (Would have loved to have seen that)

Ron then suggests that super extra Malcolm try out for the drama club. The theatre program was my extracurricular in HS.
