46, 48 and 50 for Steve Nancy and Jonathan (do them all)
46- Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
48- How do they express love?
By saying it constantly. He loves telling people he loves them. He’s told every single girlfriend he’s ever had (no matter how brief it was) those words, not to trick them or flatter them, but because he truly believed he loved every one of them. It wasn’t until after he’d grow tired of them that he realized he didn’t.
He also loves buying things for people. He’s got money to spare, so why shouldn’t he buy Jonathan those tickets he wanted, or Nancy that necklace she smiled at? It can sometimes be annoying and over the top, but he always has the best intentions.
50- Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Hell yes. Steve hates the unknown. He likes being in control of everything, and when it’s impossible to be, he gets terrified. He doesn’t know what to expect after death, and that’s paralyzing for him. He just tries not to think about it.
46- Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Words, usually. She tries to apologize where she can, and express her frustrations as well. She believes communication is the most important thing in a relationship, and she tries to uphold that principle even when it’s embarrassing or frustrating to be honest.
48- How do they express love?
Nancy expresses love by doing her best to empathize with the people she loves. She’s good at reading emotions, and tries to respond to that whenever is possible. When Jonathan’s having a bad day, or Steve’s feeling feeling anxious, she’ll always take the time to give them an extra long hug or sit down to listen to them, even when they don’t ask.
50- Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Nancy wouldn’t say she’s afraid of dying, per se, but she is a bit anxious about it. Like Steve, she doesn’t like the unknown, and she just wishes she could know more. But she also accepts that she’s going to die someday, and just takes it all with stride.
46- Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Deeds. Jonathan, being as reserved as he is, doesn’t always know how to make things right with people, and lots of times ends up saying the wrong things. He’s bad at apologizing, but Steve and Nancy have come to understand that Jonathan says sorry through making breakfast or cuddling at night, rather than actually saying it, even though he’ll make an effort.
48- How do they express love?
Jonathan expresses love through the tiny things. He shows his love through the small smiles, the threading together of fingers, the light kisses to foreheads and temples. When he says “drive safe” or “good luck today” or “I miss you,” those are his “I love you”s.
50- Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Jonathan has never really felt afraid of dying. If anything, he’s more afraid of being left behind. Death just seems natural to him, and on more than one occasion it’s even seemed to be a comforting thought to him, especially when things were bad in high school. But he isn’t rushing towards it.
