Final piece in context.
Final image.
Due to the fact that one group member didn’t feel they were strong enough to use Photoshop proficiently, and the absence of another, I decided to create the context piece for our final image. I looked back at my previous research. Considering colour scheme, layout, modern day threats between North Korea and the US and the devastation that occurred in Chernobyl.
I was very happy with the final outcome and so was the member of the team I was able to discuss it with.
As a group we created this final image. The speckles are designed to look like the film in the camera is reacting to the radiation.
Newspaper layouts
Considering our focus for the final piece was nuclear disaster related, we decided to create a newspaper article to put the piece we create in context.
I started to look at modern newspapers for inspiration of layout and articles relating to nuclear issues going on in the world today.
