36 Days of type Refinements
After taking a step back from the project I went back and refined my idea for the 36 days of type project. My intentions for showing my type design was to keep a very soft and beautiful design. Therefore, I decided to go for a very neutral colour palette using photographs from Pexels.com and taking inspiration from my type carousel.
The first design I did was based solely off of my type carousel due to the solid colour background, although this worked for my type design I do not think it works very well for my 36 days of type as it looks to plain.
Therefore I decided to go for the option of incorporating photography. Initially I went for a photograph of white bedding as it was very soft and calming , however the white in white clashed and the type got lost within the design. I then scrolled through the website and found the beige bedding which when placed in the design works well as it is dark enough to allow the type to show up but not too dark that it looses its calming nature.
Therefore I decided to go for the last design as my final 36 days of type design.
