1. It's the first week of school, and I've already managed to mess up. What is wrong with me? I can't seem to get anything right. I thought this year would be different. Maybe that's the problem; I was trying too hard to make it different that I really just made it worse. 

The worst part is that I hurt someone who just wanted to be my friend. Imogen doesn't have many friends, and neither do I. ...I might not have any friends after this. I really need to do something to make it up to her. 

2. I miss her so much. I don't know how I'm going to get through without seeing her every day. I kind of thought she was the girl I was going to spend the rest of my life with. But, we want different things. I want to travel and see the world, and she wants to stay in one place. Or so she says.

I wonder if she thinks about me as much as I think of her. Probably not. I bet she's already found someone new, someone better. I hope she is as happy as I pretend to be.
