Yesterday I started spray painting a new mural at the entrance of my apartment here at “Muyawasi” in Quilmana, Peru. It’s a guardian creature that I based on the mural I had painted at the entrance of my Montréal apartment (which got erased by my neighbours last November). Here is the the finished version of my new mural/Portal for my friends at @voodoo.hoodoo.recs ! It was so fun the hit a big wall canvas again, with the old rattle cans and try something a little bit different. A landscape of the current evolution of humanity and a bridge to a more positive future. At least that is my intention with this visual code. Here is the little piece that I spray painted yesterday at/for the “Urban Art Museum” @museoarteurbano in El Callao, Lima, Peru. The place is an awesome old colonial building right in front of the “Real Felipe” Fort! Big thanks to @entes93 for inviting me to have my work included in their awesome collection! This is the 3rd street art Museum I am now part of, along @streetartmuseumamsterdam (Amsterdam) and @street.art.museum (Russia), so Im super honores n stoked to be included more n more into that very powerful art movement!! Anyways, this fierce creature is my own version of a polymorphic deity of the Paracas culture, inspired by my trip there last week. Some interdimentional entities need to kill you in order to liberate you, may you realize it good or not, that is in the eye of the beholder. Anybody going to Miami Art Basel this December? I think I’ll make a stop there, on my way to my retreat in Peru, but not really planning any stunts. The big solo show I did there last year was great, but I had to stay put in my warehouse as to not miss any visitors, so I missed everything else. So once I had finished my Eggman Dome piece at the Beatles Ashram, I still had some latex paint left over and a couple hours to spare. So I grabbed this lil spot in front of where @themetanoist was finishing up her mandala and threw down this quick experimental freestyle. Just having fun, throwing Color energy around, as you can see in the time lapse.
