My daughter and I participated in a 5K walk to benefit VisionWalk this past weekend, it was so nice having her walk with me, this was her first time ever doing a 5K.

  It was so beautiful on the lake and there was a strong breeze which kept us cool.

Vision Walk!

Hello Tumblr! My name is Megan, and my 10 year old brother Chase has a eye condition. This condition is called Retinal Dystrophy, this causes him to go Blind later on in life, this can’t be fixed with surgery or anything, it’s permanent. But I want to support him as much as I can. on may seventh, myself and some of my delta gamma sisters will be walking in the northern virginia visionwalk. visionwalk aims to raise funding for research and awareness about retinal degenerative diseases. there are over 10 million americans who do not have the ability to see. it is possible to find a cure! and a cure is in sight!
