She is like a phoenix - constantly burning and rising from the ashes. She is a warrior in her own right - but even the sharpest of swords will become dull with time. And it is the darkness she feels seeping into her bones - her soul - that makes her feel as though her skills are slipping through her fingers.
It’s that darkness that she fights against - the same one that has threatened her for years. Jaina does not want to allow herself to fall, but there are times when the idea of how easy it would be to just let herself fall would sneak into her head and twist around her like a poisonous snake.
“Of darkness. death. Like something - someone -” oh that voice that she’s heard since she was a child. For as long as she can remember - that took her brother from her - it still seeps in and tries to pull her from the light she fought so hard to stay in.
“Like they are trying to pull me away.”
what are luke's thoughts on sand
it’s rauw’, it’s cawse, it gets e’ywhaarrr.
No, for real though, Luke doesn’t mind sand. It’s like rain or fog to him; it’s just a natural occurrence and something that he’s equipped to deal with. He knows how to keep it out of his eyes and mouth, how to use it to clean dishes, put out fires etc. He grew up with it, and never really thought anything odd about it. In this sense, Luke is very much not his father’s son.

❝ i have a kid, things are different now. ❞ he's not even looking at luke, he's staring at a wall, peering past its concrete form to look upon the great dark Infinite Void of the Universe as his mind swells, galactic. holy fucking shit he's a dad.
“Two, actually. But I wouldn’t say that to Leia’s face.”
Headcanon: when Luke was younger, especially, he had dreams of a girl in white on a green planet.
Send me a headcanon about my muse and I'll agree/disagree.
Agreed! Luke definitely had dreams about his twin sister that he could never explain or understand; at least not until he met Leia and realized she was his sister. Between their bond in the Force (which they’ve had since before they were born and simply started becoming aware of once they met face-to-face) and his initial trauma of being separated from her, Luke often had dreams he couldn’t explain. Some were visions of Leia in the Force, though never detailed enough that he would recognize her when he saw her holo through Artoo while others were simply his subconscious trying to recall and process what had happened when they were separated.
