An Abstract, Fuzzy Idea of a Person
Listening to people talk about their friends is amazing, hearing them get passionate about their day to day and wanting to share it with me is great and all. But if I haven’t met said friends, then please don’t tell me a long, convoluted, interconnected story about them. You can tell me about Sally and Johnny and Frank and Sue and Mary, and I’ll sit there and occasionally reply with “this is the one with the kid, right”, but if I haven’t met them, they are a disassociated, jumbled, abstract concept of a being, floating around in the ether just above my head and they don’t exist for me the way they do for you.

For anyone to form a strong bond with someone else… I’m not using a tacenda here that people should have sex if they want to improve their relationships, I’m simply hinting on other…
