Plate reverberation

Plate reverberation is the use of a metal plate to create a reverberation with a transducer. 

IDEA: Use a metal exit sign from an old building about to be demolished, for a metal reverb plate. Then placing it in a new building, with a tiny version next to it, like a visual echo. This would reflect the reverberation quality post-use, in visual format. 

Also, the use of what was once a sign indicating movement, or action, would turn into a feeling from its new use, with the prior echoing into it.

I was thrilled to have the chance to echo my Nooner from the previous day. This was also the day I’d be rescued from my own ignorance about how best to find and enjoy what Austin had to offer. The next day, I’d be back on a bus to San Antonio, to resume travels on Amtrak’s Sunset Limited, and move on to my next show in New Orleans.

Some people think they need a constant visual echo to feel secure

A constant reminder of their existence. 

There's something peculiarly self-referential about wanting everyone to have the same body size as you.

Like wanting everyone to be the same height, race, religion or something. It's like, not everyone is YOU.

It's okay. It's safe.
