Goodness gracious
Ciara upsets white people for wearing this dress as they demand she covers her body next to half naked white cheer leaders.
Meanwhile..
Is this real?
Very. Thereâs more outraged tweets like this I didnât include bashing Ciara for ânudityâ/the dress being skimpy.
ciara is literally fully clothedâŠ
Lol
âHalf nakedâ. Lmao okay.
some bodies are more obscene than others

All this in one day. Iâm so tired y'all
oddly important image this. Weâre often told that fat people are fantasists. Yet the fantasies of slim people are all over the ob crusade and this epitomizes it.
Slim people are always lying to themselves about âhow much they doâ to be slim which is usually nothing. Itâs written by the idea that being slim is the product of being a do-right kind of person, a reflection of all things good and fatness the oppsite.
When they know themselves fat to thin alike eat the same things and do/donât do the same things.Â
What gives this import, is that this pretense depends for its sustainence on the failure of its own ideological delusion. Few slim people can live the way they all claim to be living to be slim, just like fat people.
They then point to this in fat people as if it is uniquely a fat thing, using fat people as a buffer to keep on doing what they want to do-whilst continuing a false pretense of virtue.

This costume has always been a dream for me since I got into sailor moon. I wanted to take a different approach at her dress and make it into a ballgown vs the high low. Not only was this my first time ever creating 2 ballgowns (the other cosplay pictured here) completely on my own, but because of my severe procrastination, my deadline was less than a month away. đ± Though even with the odds against me, I managed to completely both gowns in time. The skirt was supposed to have LEDs, but sadly they werenât done in time for Katsucon. The good news is that they WILL be made and debuted at Megacon 2016! I am very grateful I managed to finish this cosplay along with my other ballgown in time (I am also VERY glad it didnât fall apart at the con đ). Shout out to all the friends for giving me support while making this cosplay and yelling at me when I forgot to eat. đđ
After debuting this cosplay at the con (and the personal drama that followed đ), I think one of the many things I had to re-learn about cosplay was that when you create something that makes you happy, it doesnât matter who likes it or not, you should be proud of the work you put in for it. No matter how much you are ignored by the people you felt would appreciate it, you still proved to yourself that you can do it.Â
Donât ever let someone tell you canât do something you love. đ

An incidental point, but once you say âbluegrassâ, adding caucasian or white is superfluous.

Ayup.
such an inspiring phrase and I say that as an atheist.
Autism doesnât ruin our lives. Having people refuse to accommodate our needs and people deciding to abuse us just because we are autistic ruins our lives.
Yesterday, actor Wentworth Miller (Prison Break) responded on Facebook to a fat-hatred post by the LAD Bible about weight gain he experienced during a battle with suicidal depression. The LAD Bible originally posted a picture of his thin body taken while his TV show was still airing, juxtaposed with a newer picture of him with a fatter body. To his credit, Millerâs response was eloquent, honest about his struggles with crippling mental illness, and dismissive of haters. Today, social media is abuzz with headlines pointing to his response, and many of them say a variant on the same thing: Wentworth âshut down body shamersâ. No, he didnât. While his post was moving, personal, and eloquent, and openly discussed mental illness and the stigma, shame, and dangers it brings, he might have distracted the body shamers, but he didnât really shut them down. In fact, he responded to body shamers the way many of us have felt forced to respond to body shamers and bullies throughout our lives: he offered them an excuse for the size of his body. The offered excuse, in this case, was mental illness. I canât speak for you, but Iâve heard them before: âI know Iâm fat, but Iâm trying to do something about it.
Youâre right of couse. Still, I enjoyed these bitches getting a slap down in langauge theyâd understand.
Basically, they lost.
Does fatness cause cancer?
Weight is positively correlated with cancer, such that fatter people are more likely to be diagnosed with a number of different cancers compared to thinner people.
This does not mean that fatness causes cancer. There are many psychological, social, and physiological factors that co-occur with fatness that could be  responsible for the apparent association between cancer and weight.
Fat people experience intense social stress due to weight prejudice and discrimination, and chronic stress, especially social stress, increases the risk of developing cancer.
Fat people are more likely than thin people to live in poverty, and poor people are more likely to develop cancer than rich people.
Because most fat people have lost weight at least once in their lives, and because almost everyone who intentionally loses weight regains the weight they have lost, most fat people have experienced weight cycling, and weight cycling predicts a three-fold increase in the risk of developing cancer for fat people.
Metabolic syndrome causes people to be fatter and also increases the risk of cancer.
And yet none of these variables are accounted for in research demonstrating an association between fatness and cancer. And thatâs just poor science.Â
This is fascinating, if youâre actually interested in how we can alter our bodyâs functioning in humane and effective ways. It seems to be some kind of metabolic pathway, which one though? Thatâs on for you to answer âobesity scienceâ I dare you to find out/tell us [donât count on them not knowing]. As the term âobesity-relatedâ seems to be whatever health issues a fat has, this could also reflect hormonal/metabolic conditions like PCOS etc.,
Itâs clearly about the functioning of metabolism. Thatâs really what âobesityâ causes stands for. The functioning of your metabolic system. All the more reason to stop obsessing about weight categories and what people eat and find out more about the mechanics of metabolic anatomy.
But hey, that might lead somewhere positive and we all know who doesnât want that.

Like this. More subervsion of before and after please. Iâd like to see a before of a person before fat consciousness and after. And it doesnât have to be two, why not before during and after? Or a whole strip following a shift of /stream of consciousness.
