Part Two (The Poor Knights continued...)
Second dive we jumped in at Maomao arch and we weren’t disappointed. So much life and of course... Blue Maomao. After a quick warm up with some hot juice and a muesli bar, we headed up to middle arch where there were massive schools of Blue Maomao and Trevally. We also spotted some schooling Maddos, which was a treat.
Finally we headed to northern arch. This was the most magnificent. The depth sits just over 30ms. It was so clear I was diving down to photograph the aloof Pink Maomao and kept finding myself sinking with negative buoyancy because I didn’t realise how deep I was. I’d hazard a guess that I was bouncing down to 15ms in a blink... who knows how much deeper... defo time I get a depth gauge. An incredible day with over four hours in the water and too much visual delight to process.
I drove home super late and super happy and am still trying to catch up with all the things I saw. Wow.

Form the mixture into tiny cake balls and arrange them on a baking sheet that has been lined. After inserting lollipops into each cake ball, freeze for half an hour. Melt the white and red candy in different bowls as directed on the package. Evenly coat each cake pop by dipping it into the melted candy. Let extra candy fall off. Top the cake pops with Valentine-themed sprinkles while the candy coating is still wet. Reposition the decorated cake pops onto the baking sheet that has been lined, and allow them to fully set. Your Valentine Cake Pops are ready to be consumed once the candy coating has set.
