Back in April, I was invited to go see the premiere for Chasing the Star. A movie that a good friend of mine had worked on. Talkeetna Alaska. If you haven’t been, you haven’t truly lived...just kidding! But it’s a pretty fucking awesome place, and I highly recommend anyone who wants to go somewhere that’s completely different from any other place they've ever been. @stepsisterfromplanetweird and I got to see each other the other day and then again the next day! We get together once a year and it’s always such a joy. It’s also never enough time because it seems like we have so much going on, that we could talk forever. We had our first shoot this time last year and this just a polaroid I shot while she was wearing the best shirt ever. Deal with the hand you’ve been given. Sometimes you don’t have a choice, so take that hand with confidence and run with it. Some days, that hand looks like fucking dog shit, and you look down the street at some Fabio looking mother-fucker like "Damn! He’s got all the cards! He’s got a 52 deck card and I️ have only 2 cards..." But look up. There is still some light, even in a total eclipse.
