Youtube, another social media platform. Over 11 million views. (Note how it has a lot of dislikes. It’s as though the racists all came in mass...) Would the cop have resigned on Wednesday, June 11, 2015 if this video did not exist? Would the mainstream media have picked up this story if it did not go viral on Youtube. Another contingency, another what-if, and certainly another instance of subaltern agency at work and succeeding against instances like these where another police officer let his “emotions get the better of him.”
