ColdFlash Fandom Alert! I Had A Plot Bunny And Did A Thing
So I’ve been working on the character for like a year now. She’s biracial, ethereally pretty and nearly six feet tall (because I’m short and I’m projecting). Then it hit me- which other awesome fictional character is biracial and “ethereally pretty”. That’s right folks...Leonard Snart. So, introducing Visur, a timeline-hopping kid alien person (still working out the kinks in that one) who is the half-sister (because why not) of Leonard Snart, Leader of the Rogues, time traveler and nemesis of The Flash.
I wanted a character who could live in every fictional world I am a fan of and that is what Visur (which means ‘everywhere in Lithuanian. Whoever can tell me what I plan on doing with that gets virtual hugs and kisses from me. Don’t take this lightly. I hate physical affection typically) is for me. This is the first fic I’m writing with her in it. Her origin story may come later, hopefully.
So, take this. Tell me what you think.

Barry knew that this week was going to go south. Ever since the last Zoom encounter, he knew that there was no chance in hell that he was going to be on his A-game for a while. So, when a 12 year old girl stopped him in his tracks with her freaking mind, he wasn’t as surprised as he probably should have been.
She was beautiful, ethereally so, with curly hair, beige skin and striking blue eyes, decked out in a leather jacket, knee socks and black boots. She had a smirk on her face as she walked up to him, hand still raised in what he imagined was the hold on his speed. He tried to move, a little worried that despite how small she was, she could take him down if he didn’t get free soon enough.
‘Don’t worry, I’m not here to hurt you. I just need your help,’ she said, in a weird accent and with a snarky, dry tone that, again, seemed familiar. ‘My name is Visur and I am looking for my brother. From watching his interactions, I believe that you are my best shot at finding him.’
‘I would help. If you, oh, I don’t know, released me?’ he said, gritting his teeth at the uncomfortable sensation of having his speed held on to.
‘Oh, sorry. I sometimes forget how to treat normal people,’ she says, smile widening. She drops her arm and he feels the grip loosen. ‘Thank you,’ he says.
‘No problem. So, my brother?’ she asks. He raises an eyebrow at her and then whisks her away. Might as well take her to the lab for the others to meet if she needs their help enough to come to him so brazenly.
‘Uh, B- I mean, Flash? Who is this?’ asks Cisco when they stop in the cortex. The girl is spinning around in what seems like glee. ‘That’s uh, Visur? Am I pronouncing that right?’ he asks her. She just hums in reply as Cisco and Caitlin stare at her.
‘You know, it’s so much cooler in here than just watching you from just my head,’ she says as she takes in the room.
‘She’s looking for her brother. She thinks we can help her find him for some reason,’ says Barry in answer to the question on his teammates faces.
‘Who’s her brother? Oh no, is he from Earth-2? Is she from Earth-2? Did Zoom bring her?’ asks Caitlin, voice rising as she becomes more agitated. ‘No, I would have Vibed about it, I think,’ says Cisco, placing an arm on her shoulder.
‘Sorry, sorry, for worrying you, I mean. My fathers say I shouldn’t do that a lot. They’re weird,’ she says this with a slightly remorseful air and Barry is reminded of his earlier thought about her age but Cisco beats him to the punch and asks, ‘How old are you? What, like 12?’
‘Excuse you. I’m the reverse actually, I’m 21. I just had a few- issues, growing up. That’s why I’m so small,’ she replies defensively, arms wrapping around her tummy. Barry throws a look in Cisco’s direction and the other man rolls his eyes, but Caitlin slaps his shoulder and so he apologizes.
‘It’s okay. I’m just sensitive about some really stupid shit. Back ot my brother. I can’t see or sense him anymore. It’s like there’s something blocking me and I’m worried he’s gotten himself into trouble. Can you help?’ she asks as she stares them down.
‘We might. Who’s your brother?’ asks Cisco, as always unable to resist a good mystery.
‘Leonard Snart? I believe you call him Captain Cold although he’s not even that cold. He’s actually a big softie from what I’ve seen from his interactions,’ she says but the team is not listening anymore. Tey’re mouths are open in shock and Barry suddenly realizes why she’d seemed so familiar.
‘Captain Cold is your brother?! Holy shit,’ says Cisco, once again, voicing what everyone wants to hear. She shrugs and returns to wandering around the cortex while the team look at this new, potentialy dangerous entity with new eyes.
