i wonder if takumi has nightmares about inheriting the throne. he takes his position of second prince seriously and it's also a factor in judging his own self-worth, and he definitely wants to be seen just as important as ryoma but like, i wonder if he's ever stopped to consider what *would* happen if he suddenly had to take the throne. does he *want* the throne, the responsibilities that come with it? yes, he was raised in preparation of that possibility but does he himself believe he's prepared for it? does he think himself worthy? and what circumstances could that possibility even happen? what would have happened to cause his infallible big brother, the person he's looked up to, that he has always expected to one day be a great king, to suddenly fall, to force takumi to take the throne? does he think about how he would still be in his brother's shadow as king, because he believes everyone (and himself) thinks ryoma would have been a better leader than him? would that constant comparison he puts on himself be too much to bear? all this to say, i just think the scenario itself is ripe for him to have nightmares about it :')

I'm just gonna say this. I may be a nobody on this app but this is just something I want to record. Okay, so my schoo is doing Legally Blonde (with no censorship) which is great and my cousin has recently gotten me into Ace Attorney. Which is also great. So I've been thinking about law as a career path. Not to fucking mention I did TWO mock trials this summer? At my summer camp? I'm not kidding when I say I get excited when I hear the word lawyer.

Someone said the universe was sending me a sign. This is hilarious, and a insane coincidence really.

To close out All Ships Week, I’ll share a cute little domestic selekumi headcanon that I’ve incorporated in some of my fics: selena and takumi really like touching each other’s hair. like, selena obviously cares a lot about how her hair looks, and takumi literally has a my room voice line about asking if he can touch the avatar’s hair, so i just kinda took and ran with that lol. one of the ways they relax/express their love language to each other is brushing and doing each other’s hair. selena asks often if she can braid takumi’s hair at night, and when they’re in bed together she often finds herself braiding his hair absentmindedly. she’s tried multiple times to see if she can tame the “spikes” in his hair but to no avail. she’s also tried to convince takumi to let her put his hair into pigtails but he refuses (which leads into another headcanon that the two of them have silly competitions between each other, and selena makes him put his hair into pigtails if he loses a bet for example). takumi is more simple, most of the time he just likes running his hands through selena’s hair, but when they’re getting ready he’s more than happy to help fix her hair up. And occasionally they’ll also get each other new hair accessories (selena buys him accessories more often though, and takumi ends up with more hair ties than he knows what to do with. he has to rein her in with her shopping habits in general)

there was artwork posted back in 2016 or so that actually depicted selena, takumi, and kiragi together and to this day I still don't know how the original artist was (bc unfortunately whoever reposted it never gave credit and the art itself has no watermark). but hey, mystery artist, whoever you are, you are a legend in my heart

a headcanon I have about robin!selena is how easy it is for her to make the decision to leave for the world of fates if robin decides to sacrifice himself at the end of awakening, because for all her effort to come back to the past and perhaps change her parents' fates, she's failed again. she failed to save him. she keeps thinking about what she could have done to stop him, if she could've done more, that maybe if she were kinder or acted differently, maybe her dad could have chose differently too. but instead, he broke his promise to not die on her. when it came down to it, she thinks he picked a different choice over his own daughter (even if deep down she knows he was thinking of her) and it hurts so much. she's had her hopes crushed over and over again, that there's no point in clinging to the hope that her father will come back, waiting for something that by all means, doesn't seem like it'll happen at all. It's easy to just leave her mistakes behind and focus all her efforts into something else. So she just leaves. But really, what she's doing is running from her pain. And I also headcanon that Severa leaves during Robin's absence, so throughout her time in the fates world, she's still mourning his loss. and what naga has said about Robin only being able to come back if the bonds he's forged in the world are strong enough haunts her, because maybe if she stayed, he would come have already come back, but she didn't believe in that enough. not to mention, she left her mother and sister behind, too, to mourn alone, and the guilt eats at her.

making caeldori be selena's kid instead solely for entertaining the potential sibling dynamic of caeldori and kiragi. big sister caeldori being protective over her hyper little brother, but also trying to get him to do his work, meanwhile kiragi tries to get her to relax and be easier on herself (and i guess this extends to the rest of the family too). oh and he calls her "Dori" for short 🥺
