Introducing vividnestavy Track: po rozklade opekniem https://sheher.bandcamp.com/track/vividnestavy-po-rozklade-opekniem
Describe something that happened this year that inspired you to make music.
“After a very difficult 2025, I craved to find a safe way to let out every single emotion that I kept to myself. I also needed to truthfully and openly ''materialise'' and express what comes with being trans. Truthfully, being this open to strangers, but myself too, is terrifying, yet freeing.”
How has the changing political landscape the last 12 months impacted you personally?
“In Slovakia, every other day, the social and political acceptance of queer people is dying. The human rights of any minority are at risk, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I don't feel hopeless. In a few months, I'll be an adult, and I won't be able to get the care I need. In short, I'm terrified.”
If your track were another great work of art, what would it be & why?
“‘The Death of Marat’ feels like a good emotional descriptor for my comp track. The slowness and meaning of the track give me that feeling of a swan song. Also, in my theatre club, we had a play about transitioning. Marat had a skin condition, and we used a skin condition as an analogy for being trans.”
