Buy a small amount, and paper big, hangable wood panels instead of a wall. That way you can arrange them as wall art and still keep them if you move. :)
That it perfectly doable! Still not sure it’s the best way I can spend my money, but still ;) And then I’d want many more samples, not just that one. That one would be lovely in my entrance though...
Hmm, either are possibilities, I suppose. It would be neat to see actual bats there, but some sort of secret tech is probably more likely.

The man owns exactly 1 shirt :D but he looks good in it so I can't complain...
I think he owns several very very very similar shirts but can’t argue about the looking good part! Maybe we should suggest he does away with wearing shirts altogether?
Temari!
It’s been a while since I’ve done Temari embroidery. @vividstitch posts some incredible projects, and every time I see one I want to try Temari again. So today I decided to just Do. It. Already.
Using a pure yarn core instead of a styrofoam ball makes it smoother.
Guide threads, badly anchored. Something to do differently next time.
It has begun!
A simple overlapping square design.
I used DMC thread, as seen in the pic. In all, I’m happy with how it turned out. I remembered more than I thought I would, but it’s definitely going to take some practice before I can do anything too complicated. It’s also a great way to get rid of some scrap yarn.
I’ve been using the book The Craft of Temari, by Mary Wood.

The rest of her table is covered with craft supplies. Was she planning on making a pineapple collage??
Omg, well spotted!! Clearly that was the plan! Instead, she’ll settle for finger painting yogurt all over her walls and gently going insane. I mean, she clearly already is, because who doesn’t start by at least slicing the giant, prickly, inedible part off the top of a pineapple, as someone else noted? She’ll be fine, though. It’s all good.
