I feel like sometimes this trope can be overdone but if it’s done well, I’m down. It’s always fun watching the relationship progression, especially if the level of “enemy” starts out as two people always trying to one up one another and prove that they’re better than the other.

Sometimes kinda tacky but I think it can be done well, and can always be funny to watch. The one thing that always comes to mind is The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock.
