Foggy air exhaled, he rubbed his hands together for any minimal warmth he could pull off. As the peak of winter approached, he found himself still struggling to maintain comfort no matter the amount of layers worn or skin covered with cottony material. Placing them in his coat's pockets, he peered through a nearby window, flawless mannequins robbed of facial expression blankly staring back. Easing back, he turned, bumping shoulders with another individual. "Pardon me."

Hands clasped together, scarf wrapped around her neck to keep the warmth trapped. Feet collided with the cold stone tiles as she made her way through the somewhat busy streets. Eyes fixed ahead, yet lost in thoughts as usual-- lost in her own world. As a body touched her's, she stopped all tracks, confused and now pulled back to reality. Her eyes wandered over to the source of the sound, only to meet the eyes of a young man. She gave a small bow. 'No, I apologize instead.'
