This was the moment thatall kids growing up playing soccer dreamed about. There was only 30 secondsleft in a tough match against your biggest rival, score tied and you were aboutto take a penalty kick. No no, you weren’t nervous at all. Ice water in ourveins. Or at least that is what you were trying to tell yourself.You were trying not to think about how if you missed this, your season would beover. It was do or die. There were also the screaming fans to block out. Therewasn’t much to do in this town, so soccer on a Saturday afternoon was it!Especially the youth championships against the neighboring town. You werestarting to think this was too much pressure for your 7 year old mind! The ref blew his whistle for you to take your kick. Everything came to astandstill around you; the crowd was no longer heard, it was just you and thegoal. And that pesky goalie. But this is what you practiced for. You knew youcould do it. You took a deep breath and mentally aimed for the bottom right of the goal,your sweet spot. But you looked at the left of the goal, to fake out thegoalie. You took the couple steps and swung your leg back… connected with theball in just the right spot on your foot and watched the ball sail away.All the sudden the noise of the crowd and your teammates came back into focusedand the world regained its normal pace. Right in time for your teammates tojump on your back in celebration for your made goal that would prove to be thewinning point.After the final whistle, all your teammates were so happy and huggingyou and congratulating you. It felt like you were being passed one from oneperson to another. Until you got to Taekwoon. He was the star of the team andnever seemed to like you. Well, to be fair, he didn’t seem to like anyone butyou felt it was especially true with you. You felt like he really hated theidea of a girl on his team.You were shocked when his face split into a huge grin and he hugged you so hardthat you were lifted an inch from the ground. “Do you know how hard I’m trying not to kissyou right now?” He said to you.It took you a minute for the words to get through since you rarely had everheard the soft voice he had. But then his words dawned on you as his facestarted getting closer to yours.“Ewww!! Get away! Boys have cooties!” You yelled as you ran away to the safetyof the parents that were coming to congratulate you. You looked back to see a gleam in Taekwoon’s eye that you didn’t quiteunderstand until several years, and puberty, later.Drabble game is closed. Please do not send more requests.

I've noticed that Hyuk is the only member that religiously wears the VIXX friendship ring, or atleast when promotions are on, it can always be found on his ring finger whereas other members might wear it but also exclude it to wear other rings. I was just wondering if you had an idea about why Hyuk wears his ring all the time? Thanks!

i honestly can’t think of why hyuk would wear that ring specifically except for the obvious thought that maybe, just maybe, he’s sentimental as heck. from what I’ve seen hyuk seems to be a pretty tsundere character. he always is pretty mean to his hyungs but when it counts, he always highlights their best parts and never forgets to thank them for all the support in his long journey to idoldom.

if he truly does wear it for sentimental reasons, boy I’d be glad.

but thank you for reminding the fandom (and me!!) about him wearing the VIXX ring. I’m going to add you to my mental list of sharp-eyed starlights~

VIXX Teapots Explained

My dear friend @moonofmirrors wanted to see my reasoning behind the selections for my VIXX as teapots post. It really just gives me an excuse to prattle on about the boys I love.

Hakyeon has this elegance, this poise, an inner and outer beauty that I thought the clear glass with the flowering tea represented well. I don’t know why but I just get this traditional vibe from him, though he’s not ill fit in today’s world. More like an old soul.

For Leo I wanted to include his ofttimes prickly temperament but everything in that vein was too harsh, there were no soft edges to temper things. So I went with cats because he has a very catlike personality and the streamline design represents his relatively simple desires in life. Being a good singer and later a good father and husband.  

Ken originally had a sleek futuristic abstract design as I think he’s a modern, artistic person with an intelligence people often overlook. But I was worried people wouldn’t get it so I picked one that represented his quirky personality which I think leans a little toward the dark side, though he never shows it.  

Ravi…is all heart. The chains represent not only his possible preferences in the bedroom, but how he often holds his heart back with those he doesn’t know. He comes across very aloof and no one would guess underneath how much love he has to give to those he opens up to.

Hongbin’s is obviously a nod toward his beauty but also a reference to the old joke the members had about him being ‘artwork’ as it borrows from Van Gogh’s work. The vibrant colors represent his bright personality and the budding flowers reflect growth as he gains more confidence in himself. And like Bean it’s stylish in a classic way.

The smirk on the rabbit’s face says it all. That’s our Hyogie right there. A fluffball trickster who delights in playfully teasing others. He’s lighthearted and confident in who he is. What better way to show that than a bold bunny daring you to play his games?

Ok, so my friend and I were talking about the difference between "handsome" and "attractive" men, handsome being limited to all aesthetic features and attractive encompassing everything about a person. So, in your opinions, would you please list the VIXX boys from 1 to 6 (1 being most and 6 being least) in those two categories? (I know this will be mind scatteringly difficult as it was for us...) Hi! Sorry this has takenso long! So, I first want to say this is just an opinion! Everyone is going tohave a slightly different view of handsome vs attractive and of course, theirown thoughts on order. But since our opinions were asked, that is what we willgive!First, I will say that I agree that “handsome” is more about appearance andfacial features and “attractive” is the whole package and aura of a person. Andboth things are very subjective! Don’t kill me if your list would be different!But feel free to give us your thoughts on it too!Handsome (Most to Least) ** Going by this definition of the word: having an attractive,well-proportioned, and imposing appearance suggestive of health and strength(not my own preferences)1. I just failed my first test of this semester and I feel like a failure. Wha would the members have to say do you think? -Sick annon

I think the members would say the same thing as I do, the results of exams don’t define you as a person and there are still many opportunities to do well. A failed exam isn’t the end of the world and doesn’t say anything about you as a human, you can be one of the kindest humans on earth and at that point no one cares about your grades. They would cheer you up and cuddle with you, if you want they would study with you or at least help you studying.Hey, this is Elizabeth. I just want to add something to this that isn’t about the boys. I don’t know if this is something I have talked about here, in fact I don’t think it is, but I want you to know, sick anon, that this is not the end of the world and please don’t stress so much about it. I actually failed out of college when I was 19. I mean, letter to the house saying that “all classes for the next semester that you are registered for, you no longer are and your money will be refunded because you don’t go here anymore” type letter. Now, in my case, it was due to me not attending class ever and never being there for exams, but failed out regardless. It took me… well numbers don’t matter because I am not ready to reveal my age… but a few years to realize that I wanted to finish school. I went back to a community college while working, after my AA degree, I applied back to that same university (had a LOT of hoops to jump through with them) and eventually got my degree. Then, I decided why stop and just got a master’s degree. I am also contemplating a PhD. I say this, not to be annoying, but to tell you that failing one test or even all of college is not the end of the world. You fall down and you dust yourself off and you keep going. I know it sucks and you feel horrible, but if you keep that in your head, you will end up failing more because you don’t believe in yourself. I know you, you are not an anon to Maddie and I despite how you sign your messages and I know that you can do anything you want! Look at how far you have come since August!! You are amazing and I don’t want you to lose sight of that! And I know that Leo and the guys would feel the same way! Love you, girl!! Fighting!

How would VIXX react if Obi Wan came and told them they were a Jedi? Also what color sabers would they have (if any color is possible.)

Ohhh gosh, welp I’m gonna go whole hog on this. You’re not only going to get colors but also hilts ‘cause this is great!

I think N would be shocked at first, because who wouldn’t be! But then once he started thinking about, maybe he’d recognize the signs of the force in his life. Moments of extra strength or grace. I could see N having a yellow saber with a graceful curved hilt.

I don’t think Leo would be quite as shocked. It always felt like there was *something* with him in his quietest moments. Something quiet and calm that comforted him. He would definitely have a blue lightsaber with a hilt that’s straightforward and simple like his style.

Ken’s jaw would drop, there would be a moment of silence, and then the excited screeching would commence. He’d be PUMPED about this info. How COOL. Lee Jaehwan a JEDI. I could see him having an orange/gold lightsaber. Something rare and unique just like him. His hilt is just going to look cool. Like what’s the point of having a lightsaber if it doesn’t look cool.

Ravi would probably stare at Obi-Wan blankly for a moment while the information processes. I think he’d still be in mild disbelief until he was able to actually move something with the Force. Then after that you bet he’d work extra hard to perfect his skills. I think he’d have a turquoise lightsaber. He’s really into style so he’d probably have a cool hilt too. (Which he’d probably engrave YOLO on let’s be real).

Hongbin would go O.O for a minute and then a huge grin would spread across his face. He’d be so stoked about it. And just throw himself into Force training with all of his might. I think Hongbin would have a green blade with a fairly clean cut hilt that still has style.

Hyuk would instantly let out a whoop. He knew there was something a little extra behind his ability to control his hyungs (turns out it was the Force), and you bet he do his best to perfect his skills. He’d probably have a Viridian lightsaber. And you know Hyuk would be on the “Let’s have a cool hilt just because” team.

So... RAVI GOT HIS TOUNGE PIERCED!!! I can't with this boy. Anyways what would Ravi's reaction be when a few day after he gets it pierced his S/O wants to kiss him (French and other) but they can't cause it has to heal?

I can see Ravi having a high pain tolerance level since he is tattooed so I think he wouldn’t make such a big deal out of the whole not-kissing-thing. Of course he wouldn’t make out right after he got it pierced but I can imagine him kissing his partner one day after it’s done when he feels like it.

He’d assure his s/o that he is fine with kisses but remind them that they should be a bit more gentle in case it still hurts. If they really couldn’t kiss I’m sure he figured out something else he could do to you.
