It was with a disgruntled noise that Frick stashed his book back into his closet. Unless he was very much mistaken, which he doubted, that was the 113th time he had read through that particular book. The others weren't much better. Finding books was difficult enough, and then smuggling them back to his room without notice was even harder.
In other words, Frick was bored. Nothing was new in his life; it was all getting mundane. Boring. His purpose was to gather and store as much information as possible, but all he was coming across were things he had known for quite some time.
Wait...
There had been that one android. The male GLaDOS. That was something new, something he had not come across before. A visit to his universe was bound to provide a vast amount of undiscovered information, and Frick had thought to memorize the coordinates when the other left....
It was with very little hesitation that Frick headed out. Even if this turned out to be a dud, it was better than rereading another book he had long since memorized.
