Looks like it wasn’t Frick’s lucky day!

“He cannot ignore me forever!” Was Frick going to shut the door? Oooh, the indecision of whether risking a foot is worth it or not. “If he does not talk to me, Mortimer will!” 

Maybe he could even get Morbid to make Frick talk to him? Probably unlikely, but he could dream.

Frick didn’t need to ignore him forever. Just until Logic left. And any times after that where he might be stupid enough to try repeating this stunt. 

Really, it was quite amusing that such a supposedly intelligent android couldn’t take a completely blunt, clear hint.

Lydia continued to look back and forth between Frick and Logic, “Um.”

Maybe he wasn’t invisible? Maybe they both were just being big ol’ butts. They SEEMED to be talking to each other.. but not?

“I’ma go and plant my seed..” she meekly took her seed and newly found candy and slid right out of the mess, mumbling a thank you to Logic for the treats. Then she took off down the hall, leaving these two to continue ignoring each other or whatever they were doing.

Maybe they needed to hug it out. Be nice and just give big hugs.

Frick moved to follow, but he had hardly taken two steps before Lydia had vanished. Such was the joy of being a looming, heavy android instead of a small, light girl. Lydia was capable of literally running laps around him.

Fine. Back to his book it was. With a little luck, Logic would take the hint and leave.

Lydia giggled, was it true? Was Mr. Sissy really invisible? The thought of harmless pranks or haunting was pretty funny..

But would Brother approve? She hasn’t been grounded in a long time! She’s been doing really good! On the other hand though, this wouldn’t ever happen again. And maybe he wouldn’t figure it out?

She looked up to Frick and giggled, “I was just messin’ with you, Mr. Sissy isn’t invisible, that’s impossible! But if he was I bet he could do whatever he wanted, specially if he had a really good first idea.” she hinted, horribly.

“One would hope he wouldn’t be quite so stupid as to do anything besides leave quietly. A significant problem rose several months back that lost him any sort of good will, and the repercussions of messing around with invisibility would be no less for him than if the Idiot Unit or the Ugly Sphere were to try it. The Sissy Sphere isn’t half that moronic.”

Did Logic truly not realize this was not a situation to be in? This could possibly come to blows later if he didn’t back off. 

“On more relevant topics, his little sister should go find a home for her new seed.”

Lydia could have all the candy Logic could ever make. Frick certainly didn’t want it. He didn’t want anything to do with the others; they had all blown their chance. His life had become much, much easier since not having to care one whit about that lot, or anyone outside his ‘family’.

“That doesn’t sound like a particularly challenging task. Trimming plants is easy enough that the Loathed Sphere is capable of it. ” Lydia could go on believing Frick couldn’t see or hear Logic. It was a decent excuse.

“He can see me just fine.” He offered the candy over to Lydia, but glared right past her at Frick. Should have known it wouldn’t work, but anything was worth a shot. “Your brother is just being exceedingly rude.”

He just about hissed that last part, looked like he wasn’t taking being ignored very well today.

“No I think you’re invisible.” she whispered again before a squeal came about; candy!

But, her hands were full, “Jus’ set it on my arms, I, I got it.” she’ll manage.

“Brother, can you not see Mr. Sissy? He says you’re being seeding rude but if he’s invisible that’s not really your fault that’s Mr. Sissy’s fault.”

"There's nobody else here besides the two of them. If the Sissy Sphere was here, it would be recommended he try somewhere else to be seen." There had never been a blunter 'f*ck off' from Frick. Logic had no right attempting to be the angry one here; he was the one imposing, breaking the months of avoidance that had both of them happy.

Well, turning Lydia away wasn’t exactly about to happen. She wasn’t an annoying blue eyesore. That meant that Craig actually had to put his book down to go answer the door.

What it did not mean was that he had to stop ignoring Logic.

“It looks like she got the plant she wanted.” Not even looking Logic’s way.

“Hello?” Logic peek in over the girl, determined not to be ignored. “The Fact Sphere does realize that I have been out here for some time, yes?”

The bag of candies got snagged up once again, now to be held until he could determine whether Frick would get them after all. Maybe Lydia deserved them more. “He is being rather rude.”

“I did! GLaDE said I have to make sure to trim it so it doesn’t get all crazy.” happy, proud, excited. Normal Lydianess.

And.. a little confused. She leaned in to Logic to whisper, “Are you invisible, Mr. Sissy? Is it magic?!” a quick jump for attention from Frick, “Do you see him?!”

She smiled brightly as per the usually, “It’s a seed! I’ma grow it into a crazy people eating plant! Brother would like that.” absolutely.

“You got something? Do you have any candy or sweets? Is that why you’re here, to give Brother sweets?”

“… I am quite sure he would enjoy that.” Should he be afraid of people-eating plants? He wasn’t exactly ‘people.’ “Do let me know if it produces fruit.”

A small, inconspicuous bag of candies looked all sad and abandoned by the door. He probably dropped it there during his attempts at getting attention. “Yes, but I really just wanted to say hello.” Among other words. “He will not answer the door, though.”

“I will! I promise.”

The bag was noticed, yup, but she remained polite enough, specially since Brother was a being a butthead and not opening doors.

“Let me!” Lydia wormed her way to the front of the door and started, well, kicking it, her hands were full, “Brother! I got you something! Can you let me in? Please? Brooootheerrrr!”

After more knocking than the average patience might allow, all's quiet.. until the knocking becomes thudding. Is he kicking the door, or hitting it?

Does not matter. Either way, it’s going ignored.

Further knocking! He's clearly taken a class in the Anger school of knocking.

Further ignoring. Frick lived with a perpetual five year old. He knew all too well how to deal with outside nuisances; it would take a lot more than some rapping against metal to get his attention.

She hugged his leg, ready to bolt through the morgue and out, "If he doesn't like it then I'll clean it twice as hard!" That was enough of a yes to go ahead and take off if she believed. There was a plant to get!

Another pet to add to the collection, then. This one in the form of a plant. With how large the pile had already gotten with spiders, a snake, two cats, and a bunny, one more really couldn’t hurt. What should he care?

"Mhmm! But if he knew it was 'cause I wanted to get you guys a super awesome present then he'd be okay!" smiles innocently.

“She’s welcome to try that excuse, but it should be noted that his own opinion is that she should shower up first.”

She looked down at herself, and the dirt and giggled, "But I want to go back to GLaDE and get a plant! I'll just get dirty again. Can I get clean after?"

“That would create even more tracks across the morgue. She would have to explain to his Necro Sphere just why she felt the need to make such a mess across the very surface he fights to keep spotless.”

More cleaning chores? "I promise." a really neat plant will be worth it! Hopefully.

“That makes it a deal.” Craig had been stopped for a few long moments now, and went to set Lydia down. “The shower’s right in there. It would be best to wash all the dirt off.”

She wiggled excitedly, "You like plants too?! I can ask GLaDE if I can have one! Or a seed!"

“The request can be made only if there’s a promise made now to immediately clean up after handling the plant at any point in the future. There’s an excessive amount of dirt everywhere, including over the both of them.”

"She said it ated Miss Cat, but that's silly cause then she'd be dead." regardless she smiled, "I like plants!"

It ate Cat? Eh, whatever. That didn’t concern him any more; being secluded from the outside world had its benefits in that he didn’t have to bother caring anymore. Things were back to how they should have been from the beginning.“One could be gotten for here, though it would have to be kept away from the bodies.”

"It's okay I can clean it! But GLaDE has this really cool plant stuff and there's a lotta dirt everywhere. But they're really neat!" she tried to get closer to his face, "Her plants eat people." she whispered the last bit out.

“With a little luck, it may just eat some of the more uncooperative test subjects.” He could only hope that included several on high on his list of people to see dead. That was, if this plant even existed in the first place.

This was Aperture. Of course it would exist.

Sports the biggest smile ever and reaches up with dirty little paws!

“There’s a reason for certain rules being in place. Dirt’s been tracked everywhere and nobody’s going to be happy to clean it.” Still, up she came; Frick could haul her off to the washroom and lock her in there until she washed up.

There's a gentle rap-tap-tapping at the door! Now who could that be?

Chances were it wasn’t Lydia; she had been told too many times not to knock. Nor would it be Mortimer, as that most certainly wasn’t his knock. If that was the case, the door was best left unanswered.
