VLC media player has a great feature for fixing audio that is not synchronized. Many times we have seen that, while playing video files, we hear sound before the actual time, or hear the spoken words only after the lips move, meaning the audio is not in synchronization. Sounds are usually off by only a few milliseconds but sometime they are even off by a few seconds.
And this removes the fun of watching a movie if it happens from beginning to the end.
Sometimes sound syncing gets automatically fixed after a few moments, but not always.
And when it does not, here’s how to fix audio with video using VLC media player.
To sync audio in VLC Media Player:
1. At first, make sure that your video is playing and the audio sync is incorrect.
2. If audio requires to be slowed down then hit the ‘K’ key from your keyboard. For vice-versa, hit the ‘J’ key in your keyboard. You will see the confirmation displayed on the top right corner of the VLC player screen.
3. Pressing the keys once will speed up or slow down the audio by 50 millisecond. If you continue to press it, number of milliseconds will also multiply accordingly.
4. Make sure you speed up or slow down the sound timing of the video until you reach your desired state.
By following these steps, you will surely be able to synchronize your audio with video in VLC media player. If still you are unable to do that or for any other issue related to multimedia players, call our multimedia support team.
