Step 4: After you sign in with the old Gmail account or new Gmail account, you will no longer be on the previous Settings page. You will see some new categories of settings. Click on “Account and Import”.
Step 5: After clicking on “Account and Import”, about half page down you will see “Grant access to your account” that is followed by the “Add another account” link, click on it.
Step 6: Now you will see a new screen popping up asking for the Gmail address you want to add to this particular account of yours. Click on the box and type in the email address of another account. Once done, click on the “Next Step” tab.
Step 7: By clicking on “Next Step” you will be asked for the question “Are you sure?” Read the text in the box and once done, click on the “Send email to grant access” button.
Step 8: After adding your old or new Gmail account, all you need is to confirm through the confirmation mail by signing up your another account (the one added by you).
Check your inbox that contain a link to confirm. Click on that link and you are done.
Note: After clicking on the confirmation mail, a new pop-up message will appear that will say that this process will activate with in 30min, so wait till you get access. This access restricts you from changing any password or setting on Gmail account. All you can do is read, send and delete message of the delegate account.
