Keith was paired with a rainbow three times in season 7 alone and if that doesn’t foreshadow him being in a gay relationship by the end of the show then idk what does

so keith has gone from saying shiro is like a brother to him in s2 to calling him his brother and saying he loves him in s6 AND gone from calling his mom by her name in s6 to calling her his mom and saying he loves her in s7. now my prediction is that lance will the one to change things up here this time. something along the lines of going from saying he’s the future (which he already did in s7) to telling him that he’s HIS future and that he loves him. you’re welcome.

Me: Oh, Netflix made an interesting post about that one pic of all the main voltron characters except the side that has Lance and Keith on it is folded. Could be hinting at cannon Klance.

Klance will be Canon King (kinda)

I predict that the teased after-credits scene will be Klance because the crew is obviously afraid of repercussions from fans that aren't tumblr fangirl garbage. I believe this will be the cause because if fans don't get their way there will be riots in the street, but it will be in a subtle way that isn't loud and proud SU or SheRa gay. Similar to the Bubbline kiss, not a giant plot point, just something that happens, not emphasised. Only the online fans would really know to stay for the post credits anyways.

Either Klance or my other prediction is the after credits scene shown in the (future?) wedding leaks when everyone looks older. The shots look like a photo album type compilation that's common in future flashforwards at the end of shows and movies.

My optimistic af vld s8 predictions

- Keith will have a conversation with Shiro about Adam. S7 showed us that Keith was aware of Adam. Given how deeply Keith loves Shiro, it would not make sense for Keith to ignore his pain.

- Keith has a heart to heart with Pidge. She's really the only one left. He had the "Hey man" talk with Lance, he inadvertantly taught Allura not to be racist while they were tumbling around in space, he had the "I love you" moment with Shiro, and finally his talk with Hunk about bravery. Pidge is the only paladin who hasn't had a moment with Keith, unless you count him yelling at her when she tried to leave way back in the beginning of the series, which I don't. That's hardly a heart to heart. I feel like heart to hearts with Keith are sort of like the vld version of Zuko field trips in ATLA.

-MAYBE this heart to heart will be about how Keith almost kamikazed himself, and Pidge will discuss his role in their makeshift family and what his death would do to her.

- Allurance will happen, BUT it won't last. They might date for a little, or maybe just kiss, but regardless, they'll break things off, deciding they aren't meant for each other and they're better off friends. In LoK, Korra and Mako had a romantic arc that ended in a breakup, and I think the same thing is going to happen here.

- At some point, Allura and Lance will discuss his sacrifice and death. He'll open up to her about his insecurities and she'll help him overcome those feelings. They will be stronger friends for it.

- Acxa is going to kiss/try to kiss/confess to Keith and Keith is going to be an awkward gay turtle about it. I think it was Dos Santos (I might be wrong there) who said Adam was just a tool to get Shiro out of the closet (ouch, poor Adam). With that line of thinking, I think Acxa is also going to be a tool to out Keith to us. He can be crass and awkward, but we've seen time and time again that he does try to be considerate of people's feelings, especially when they're feeling vulnerable. He's a good boy. I think instead of just brushing her off, he would explain he's gay, so she doesn't take his rejection personally. Part of my hope for this again lies in LoK. Asami was with Mako. Korra was with Mako. Then Korra and Asami got together. I'm hoping for a similar situation. Lance with Alurra, Keith with (but not really) Acxa, then Lance with Keith (I must acknowledge this would be a big disservice to Acxa's character, but then, Adam's fate was a disservice to him too).

- I'm still holding out for that Lance/Shiro heart to heart. He called out to Lance from the astral plane. Not all the paladins. Not Allura. Lance. If there isn't a reason, that just seems like poor writing to me, personally. Those two have to connect. I'm hoping this connection will lead to the bi Lance reveal.

- Last episode, Allura sees Lance staring at Keith and says something wise about relationships. Lance agrees. Keith happens to look up and they make eye contact. Lance smiles and goes over to him. The show ends there, with no Klance, but the implication that they're going to get together. Keith is his future.

Prediction for the new paladin, Coran and Slav pic: It's from an episode similar to Space Mall or the Galra HQ episode from season 5. Allura and Lotor, if he has returned by this episode are off on an adventure together, the A plot of the episode while the B plot is the paladins, Coran and Slav taking part in some fun competition or game thus providing comic relief and some light hearted moments to contrast with the serious subject matter of the A plot line.
