sometimes i think of how strange it is to be average. like people are always saying that you're unique but then uniqueness is ubiquitous and i just?? don't feel that way??? like i am an average person. i don't have a special skill or a particularly strong passion. i just sort of exist. and i have friends, i guess, but they're all special and have cool talents and i don't really have anything. they all have a thing. and that's fine. don't get me wrong. being average is fine and i've accepted that. i'm never gonna be the friend you have fun with or the friend you call when you need to vent. there's always "that one guy" in the group that just sort of sits there in all their neutrality and that's me. but why though? why bother having an average friend? to make yourself feel better? because you see something actually worthwhile in ths person? i just don't get it. idk. it's late. i'm going to bed
