I always like to believe that, as opposed to popular belief, Lance is a terrible singer. He can't sing for jack. But he can play the guitar beautifully. Keith, unbeknownst to everyone, has the voice of an angel. One day when Lance is playing a song, Keith recognizes it and sings along. Lance stops playing and just looks at Keith because that boy can sing. Keith is just flustered because he never sang in front of some that wasn't family. Lance is in love.
anon… this is so cute?? I’m like, crying oh my god. Just imagine like,, Lance is playing a song on the guitar Hunk bought him from the Space Mall for his birthday, and he and Keith are hanging out and idk Keith’s reading some cryptid book or smth and he recognizes the song Lance is playing and starts to sing along. Lance doesn’t notice at first but when he hears Keith he just stops playing out of shock and he’s staring at Keith like he’s seen a fucking angel
Well since I haven’t seen anyone say it yet:
I’m predicting that Kuron IS a clone who has had Shiro’s memories implanted in him and that the Galra are using him to make risky and deadly suggestions to Voltron, which the entire team (EXCEPT FOR KEITH, WE SHOULD NOTE!!), would probably follow without a second thought, out of respect and presumed authority. They also can probably spy on the team using him.
BUT I also think that the Galra gave him “free will” so that they won’t have to pilot his every move, and that for the most part, he WILL be looking out for the team, unless the opportunity for subtle sabotage arises. However, this will turn on Haggar ‘n'em, because Kuron will eventually find out - probably when/if Real Shiro turns up - and eventually decide to continue helping Voltron anyway. Because even if the memories aren’t his, he can see the team for what they are and has (to a degree) been programmed to see things how Shiro sees them. I don’t know how they’ll de-Galra him, but I think he’s going to actually turn into an asset for them. Everyone will be wary at first , but he will prove himself to them, and wind up being very beneficial to the team.

OH BOY I LOVE THIS
it was hunk who finally got the system working
it had been a long ride but they had finally gotten shiro back and things were starting to calm down
there were a lot of revelations made over the past bit of time
there were galras who were good
there were alteans who were bad
keith was part galra
shiro’s lion could phase through shit
food goo actually tastes better when frozen
the castle swimming pool is accessible to non-alteans
the mice are great performers
the list goes on much longer
but the greatest revelation was hunk solving the problem of the video cord
pidge had been super swamped lately becuase of looking for matt and dr. holt
lance had been feeling down about his insecurities and homesickness
so hunk decided to do something
and hit two birds with one stone
it actually wasn’t that difficult of fix, he found some spare parts to make a small connector similar to bluetooth to project onto one of the many screens in the castle
when he gathered the other members of the castle crew to the lounge one night to reveal his invention, they all seemed disinterested
but when he said “i found away for you guys to play you game!”
lance and pidge immediately jumped on him and hugged him
but not for too long, there were games to play!
the first game that played was a game very similar to street fighter
of course pidge was the master off all and could beat everyone
well almost everyone
lance and pidge had a pretty similar standing and chances were 50/50 on either of them winning
(it really just gets into game play and counter picking and blah blah, everyone has off games sometimes)
surprisingly, the second best was shiro
he has grown up playing the game and was super excited to be able to show off his skills
the only problem was his cybernetic arm sometimes causing difficulties and almost scorching the controller a couple of times
next best was both hunk and coran
since coran was usually the one operating the fighting simulator, he could easily pick out patterns and fight his opponent
he just kept forgetting that you actually had to hit the buttons for things to go
“the simulation usually works off of my brainwaves, i don’t have to archaically tell it what to do!”
hunk is actually as good as shiro, he just hasn’t played in so long that he keeps getting caught up in the graphics of the game and hanging out wiht his friends
allura was the next best
she said that it was unrealistic because “as a fighter you want to have a diverse set of moves! there isn’t a way to learn in this game, it’s just very repetitive!”
last was keith

keith had didn’t get to opportunity to play video games too often growing up
and he didn’t really understand the purpose of the game and its limitations
but he tried valiantly
and he failed valiantly
after a bit of practice, the team decided to hold a tournament between each other for the game
as brackets typically operate, the first round is matched up of skill, worst with best and middle with middle
so of course lance and keith were pitted against each other
lance won almost immediately, KOing keith with ease
keith was a little embarrassed, combat was supposed to be his area of expertise
“wow lance, looks like you finally found something you’re better at than me”
“hah, that’s right keith! can’t beat me here, can’t beat me anywhere!”
“is that right?”
“that’s right!”
“fine! then lets settle this, you and me, sparring, right now!”
“fine!”
as they leave to head to the training room, egging each other on hunk pipes up
hunk: so, since they only played one match and didn’t finish their game does that mean they both forfeit?
pidge: you bet your ass it does!
shiro: pidge! language!
thus leads to pidge winning by a landslide and basking in all the glory
no one really notices when lance and keith return an little more disheveled that they should be for having just sparred
but they do make fun of them for both coming in dead last in the bracket
“keith! i can’t believe you used sparring as a distraction tactic to make me lose!”
ANYWAY since Blue is the most accepting and friendly lion im headcanoning that she gets the last pick of the litter because everyone else is picky! And bitch she sure was sad when Red took Lance!!

-lance is always provoking keith into tickling him. it takes keith a while to realize he’s doing it on purpose, but takes the bait either way-keith’s ears are rlly sensitive and lance loves to whisper to him just to watch him giggle and squirm.-lance’s laugh is obnoxiously loud, but keith thinks it’s the cutest thing ever. the other paladins however yell at them to shut up whenever they’re having tickle fights bc lance is SO loud.
