I may be reading too much into this, but that first panel with Polaris is rather telling. I imagine he never thought this would happen, and now he's basically being forced to become king while his brother, his INJURED brother, is simply left there. It's a wonder he (Polaris) doesn't hold any sort of resentment towards the whole thing.

So if ascension to the thone is determined by the challenge, then why was Alcor the one that was pushed so hard? Is it because he's older so they just assumed he would be king? Or is there more more to it. 🤔 Should we be sus of the dudes in the robes? XD (Sorry for the double asks, but I had a lot on my mind after the new update. XD)

Ye! Polaris was never as intensely trained to be King. I think it was something he was prepared to take up, but definitely assumed that Alcor would be the one to ascend the throne! 

He def doesn’t like to look back on that moment, seeing Alcor hurt was really hard and he wasn’t able to help him ><

Alcor was pressed to become King since as the oldest he was expected to hone his talent and become the better of the two.

Moonlight Rendezvous

Years later the two reunite and the young fae, now grown, takes up temporary residence in Yuuri’s village in order to spend more time with him. But there’s the fae are supposed to keep their distance from humans. Will the two be able to maintain their budding friendship, or will the darkness that lies in human’s hearts tear them apart?

fsdlkjsfdjs it’s not so much someone taking issue with it that bothers me. The thing is more like... I’m not writing just for my own gain. It’s part of the reason, sure, but I’m also writing to give fans fun reading material, you know? I’ve experienced how disappointing it can be when a fic which started out generic suddenly forces a NOTP on you.

So I stumbled across your Inferno au last night and holy crap I've never hit the follow button so fast before. Your art is absolutely STUNNING, you can see the time and effort that was put into it. So I just read your latest Separation Anxiety drabble and I have never beenmore compelled to reach out to someone on here to say how much I loved something (seriously I've never done this before). That drabble killed me, it was so amazingly sweet. I felt my heart break at Yuri's fears, and by the end I was tearing up a bit. I so wish Yuri could see how much Victor actually loves him, the fact he thinks Victor is only with him out of guilt is so sad. I love this story so much, still my favorite.

Yuuri is so wrapped up in the past and in his pain that he really can’t tell that Vitya does care for him… At this point in their relationship (Viktor is going to turn 22, Yuuri 18) Viktor has been dealing with his confused feelings; he doesn’t know how to feel toward Yuuri, so it’s not untrue that he’s there out of guilt. Up until this moment, he has never done anything physical to Yuuri, partly out of consideration and partly out of his own conflicted feelings. This is really the point where he starts to accept that he’s in love, but Yuuri, of course, can’t see that.
