New York certainly wasn’t on the top of Carol’s cities to visit, over crowded, noisy... and of course always the first target for any sort of villainous deeds on American soil; fortunately for both the former pilot and the citizens, the last of those statements were not relevant on this particular day.
So what was the former pilot doing in the city if there was no major threat looming? The answer was rather dull in comparison, a late night talk show interview. It sounds great, right? But the truth of the matter was, Captain Marvel was over this press tour for her upcoming memoir... having it up so much of her time from her duties at NASA or at the Avengers Station, but her publicist had insisted despite the fact that her name alone would have driven millions in sales... capitalism at its finest.
Fortunately, Danvers had time to spare driving around the various burrows that the Big Apple was comprised of...
...the unfortunate part of this scenario, was the sound of police sirens blaring from behind her motocycle... a traffic stop? Right in front of her destination as well? She shouldn’t have been surprised, but it was New York afterall.
Placing her bike in park, Carol would sit up straight and await for the officer to walk up on the side of her.
She couldn’t wait to get back home to Boston.
