I just climbed out of a LoVe fic spiral and I have 1 stuck in my head but I can't find it again and it's driving me nuts, so I'm going to ask on the off chance you or a follower can help. (Has slightly AU version of events in Ahoy Mateys?), Logan calls Veronica after the PCHers play Russian Roulette with his bits, she tracks his phone and she patches up his road rash, then stays w him to make sure he doesn't have a concussion. She, not the 09ers confronts Weevil w her taser & Backup. Maybe WIP?

Have you read all the Kantayra of Yore ones I reblogged yesterday?  They are so cute and the snark is amazing.  

Also, have you checked @vmficrecs?  I gave their fic lists page a quick glance and found this:  the happiest fics we could find.  Hopefully there’s some good stuff on there.

VM Fic Recs Broken Theme

Good morning, all,

Thanks to @cheshirecatstrut for letting us know our vmficrecs theme is broken. *deep sigh* Apparently the navigation menus we have created aren’t accessible, except on mobile and then you gots to dig for ‘em. 

While we know our blog has been mostly inactive the past couple months, we do want all the resources we’ve published over the years to be at your disposal. As we work towards a solution, we will likely default to a simple theme as the constant tumblr updates continue to break our menus.

SUMMER LOVING FIC CHALLENGE--DAY 31

Wow, you guys, it’s the last day of the Summer Loving Fic Challenge (co-sponsored by vmhq and vmficrecs), and submissions are pouring in! We’ve had FIVE great new fics appear in the last 24 hours!

In Camp Red Feather, Logan and Veronica are warring camp counsellors who realize maybe the animosity is....a cover for something else.

The Washing Machine Story is a fantastic peek into the lives of L/V two and a half years after reuniting; it features Team Detecting, Chimpanzees with false identities, Logan golfing in a Jackass Orange Polo Shirt, and Fear of Falling Pianos.

Full Speed Ahead is the third part of a trilogy, and the sequel to Back On Course. Logan and Veronica spend a weekend in the Catskills solidifying their relationship, after reuniting during Fleet Week.

Room with a View is the sequel to Coping Mechanisms. Logan and Veronica finally take that trip to Catalina, so they can enjoy a little alone time.

And Interrupt Us is the sweet, sexy and totally freaking hilarious story of Logan and Veronica’s reunion, post-180-days...which does not go EXACTLY as planned. :-)

Everybody go read and review, there are some FANTASTIC stories in this collection that are REALLY worth a look. And for those of you perfectionists still struggling with your draft, there’s time remaining to submit! Remember, all pairings and ratings are welcome, just please include some element of smut and/or romance, and tag correctly.

SUMMER LOVING FIC CHALLENGE--DAY 29

Things are heating up as we near the end of the Summer Loving Fic Challenge, co-sponsored by VMHQ and vmficrecs. Several great new stories have turned up for all you VM fans to enjoy!

In That Burning Flame, Veronica loses air conditioning, and comes up with creative, Logan-related ways to beat the heat.

In Nice Guys, Piz gets his own (very entertaining) happy ending.

And in A Fleet Week Fling, Veronica decides seven years is long enough, and reaches out to Logan during Fleet Week. But with V in law school and Logan in the Navy, can it be more than a fling?

Everybody please go read and review. And writers, it’s not too late to submit your own entry to the challenge! All pairings and ratings are welcome; we just ask that the fic contain some element of smut and/or romance, and be tagged correctly.

Writers note: Written for vmfics June Fic Prompts. My first bit of writing in a very, very long time, and it felt like it took forever to finish. I’ll probably go back and edit here and there to polish a few rough edges.
