Soulless

“I found my soulmate! God. This stupid red string is on my pinky now.”

“That’s great!”

“No way!”

“What do you mean? Are you not attracted to this person? Is he an ugly criminal by chance?”

Jimin sighed on the other line before answering, “No, hyung. He’s the complete opposite. He’s not a criminal and fuck, he’s the most handsome man I saw in my entire life too.”

“Well, okay, so are you not attracted to him?”

“That’s the problem! I am! I am very much attracted to him! I’m going crazy! What the hell am I supposed to do?”

Act 2: Kim Taehyung, alone in his Bedroom, waking up slowly because of the sunlight falling though his window, he raises from his sleep: 

19.July :

“I shall see him today!” I exclaim with delight, when I raise in the morning, and look out with gladness of heart at the bright, beautiful sun, wich remembers me at his smile. “I shall see him today!” And than I have no futher wish to form; all, all is included in this one thought.

Dance To Our Beat

“Yes Mr. President! What could I do for your honour today?”

Taehyung shakes his head and leans back at his seat. He raises his arms, bringing his hands down behind his head and lets out a soft sigh

“You see this seat beside me? Why do you think it’s empty? For artistic touch?” He lets out a small laugh, following with a look directed at Jimin, “Why don’t you come sit where you should so we can get this meeting started huh?” He suggests while shifting his eyes towards the seat on the left of him.

Who Without You

“Is there…” Jimin pauses, face distorted like it pains him to even say the words out aloud. Taehyung wants to reach out, wants to reassure Jimin, wants to comfort him. He doesn’t do any of it. He stays still, and watches as Jimin’s hands clench into fists, knuckles white with the force of it. He finds himself almost wishing that Jimin would hit him. Maybe that would help them get through this.

“Is there someone else?” Jimin finally asks, making Taehyung look up from the trembling fists. He looks up into angry eyes, dark in a way he doesn’t think he has ever seen. They have had their fair share of fights and arguments, they have been so incredibly mad at each other that Jimin once left for Busan on the last train because he couldn’t bear being in the same city with him. Yet never, never, has Jimin looked at him with such anger and kindling rage. It makes him want to take a step back but the question itself is enough to make him pause, to make him truly consider the question.

Taehyung can’t answer that. He can’t.

Blue Light

“D’you flirt with all your patients?”

Jimin breathes out a laugh. "Only when they're heavily medicated, of course."  Taehyung feels himself grin, wants to flirt with Jimin some more just to get teased in return. "At least I'm not using lousy pick-up lines."

Branches In A Storm

Jimin stands there, shocked. He blinks every so often, attempting to soak in all that's happening right now. But then it's over as quickly as it began. Before Jimin knows it, Namjoon is slamming the door shut, yelling at Taehyung through the door to at least put on some pants.

When the three of them turn their attention back to Jimin, they're all smiling at him sheepishly.

"Sorry about that," Namjoon says with a giggle. "He likes to be naked. We're... working on him."

"It's a team effort," Yoongi adds in, giggling as well.

Next, Hoseok speaks. He gently nudges Jimin's shoulder and says, "If you didn't catch on, that's Taehyung."

Jimin's still frozen. He can't speak.

"Congratulations," Hoseok says. "He's your roommate."

"Your face is red," Jimin says, leaning even closer. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Y-Yes!" Taehyung squeaks unnaturally high, scrambling away from Jimin. His heart can't take anymore.

Mouthful

“Daddy,” he says now, and he looks close to tears already, pout fixed on his face and eyes cast down, “I’m mad at you.”

“Why, angel?” Taehyung asks, smoothing Jimin’s hair down and bringing him closer all at once.
