they’re supposed to be studying; books in hand, summer air sticky with the end of the day’s head. strawberries scenting the breeze that is thinking of coming through in more force. he’s distracted, however, by the other. the pulse of color outlining the boy an indication that studying is decidedly not happening.

it’s rare he sees the dreamworld when he’s awake. but it seems daydreaming is, in of itself, a dream. and it makes him squirm a bit, knowing that he knows.
