Working on something for the toxic yuri VN jam this year

(New banner for our Twitter to reflect our new project. I just write like that now. My mental state grows worse, it’s looking grim.)

A little update (for records’ sake, we know we don’t have enough followers to evoke much reaction on the matter).

Hey, like, seven people following us! Been a minute. I really wish I could say our silence was because we were just busy. However December ended up being ROUGH on the both of us physically. As we are a team of two, if we’re both sick, nothing gets done.

So our work on Carol hit a pretty bad wall. Unfortunately this means there is no way we’ll be able to get it to a finished state in time for its intended game jam. However we are proud of and excited about the project and have agreed to to move forward with it anyway.

We figure if we give it the year to percolate, we can release it next holiday season in prime condition with all the bells and whistles, and with far less cut corners. So definitely keep an eye out for Carol in November-December 2023!

Between all that, we will be shifting gears to one of our bigger projects. We’ll begin sharing information as things get farther along. We hope in the coming months to pique your interest. Stay tuned!

And then there’s Paige! She’s the last important character to our upcoming VN, “Carol”! Onto proper sprite work, backgrounds, and then the rest of the bells and whistles!

Making good progress on our first Game Jam project, the VN script is finish and it’s already being programmed and play tested.

All that’s left is the final artwork! Here’s a little concept art for now!
