Dear Scott McCall,
Over the past few months, the Office of Admissions has had the challenging task of carefully reviewing applications from the largest and strongest applicant pool in Tulane University’s history. We appreciate the thoughtfulness and hard work you put into your application and acknowledge your strong interest in our Veterinary program. After careful consideration and a thorough review of your candidacy, we are offering you a place on our waitlist. Your application demonstrated great promise, and you are part of a select group that will be re-evaluated by the admission committee if space becomes available in the 2018 class.
To accept your place on our waitlist, please fill out the Waitlist Response Form sent to your email before May 1st, 2018. If you choose not to accept our waitlist offer, use the same link to decline your spot.
If you accept a place on our waitlist, we will send you a status update sometime after May 15th, 2018. We recognize that you must respond to offers of admission from other colleges by May 1st, and you should secure a place in the freshman class at one of those colleges by that deadline. If you are later offered and accept admission to Tulane from the waitlist you will be required to withdraw enrollment from another college. Please refer to our frequently asked questions for additional information.
Our decision to admit students from the waitlist will depend entirely on the response rate to our initial offers of admission. We appreciate your patience and willingness to be flexible. I hope you understand how impressed we are with your application and how much we value your interest in Tulane.
Sincerely,
Bob Garcia, Director of Admissions
