Singing And Performing Techniques
Children who learn to sing and perform, function better when their minds are not distracted by anxiety, children feel completely present physically, mentally and emotionally. The following exercise can help children achieve and sustain their composure and maintain calmness while at the Singing Classes in Dubai or performing.
Make the child feel comfortable somewhere where they will not be interrupted, so that they can relax and shut out any distractions and heighten their inner awareness.
Practice breathing techniques for a few minutes. And make sure to exhale and turn the attention to something calming and that the mind empties and becomes quieter. If distracting thoughts invade, just gently exhale, imagining the thoughts drifting away on the current of air.
Without allowing the mind to get cluttered, switch attention to your emotional self, where the dramas and feelings bubble away and breathe out these busy emotions, so that your emotional self becomes empty and quieter.
Turn to the physical element, and look for areas that has too much tension, stiffness, disturbance, or a sense of being blocked. Blow away the negative sensations together, with one clear exhalation. At any time, you can go back to thoughts, emotions or the body, and release more, with gentle, purposeful exhalations.
With constant practice, you can do one long exhalation, imagining releasing each part of yourself on the single exhalation. And, with practice, this can become a calming exercise to settle yourself in an instant at any time, during Vocal Classes Dubai or practice time, before going on to perform, between two phrases of a song.
To finish it all off, slowly open your eyes, taking care to retain your new, more relaxed breathing. If you notice your mind, emotions or body becoming clouded with negative thoughts and emotions in any way, make sure to keep your eyes open, but release that energy with another gentle, purposeful breath.
Some useful and important tips to keep in mind are,
