This past few days has been what i would call a "kabushka"of things. Emotionally tasking, physically daunting and mentally, the struggle" has been real". But it's almost over. Once again, thee has learned several and valuable lessons.

Note to self
Never browse tumblr at the apple store. People will judge you .
On warm Sunday Afternoons...
I want to sit out in my garden drinking a cold glass of Coca-Cola while listening to Sade.
Internal Diversity/Exposure
Do these count? Have I been exposed enough? Were they enough?
I grew up as a child in Ghana watching Indian , Chinese, Nigerian, British, German, American and Ghanaian movies.
Also worth noting are the independent films from other African countries that would arouse my desire to explore the rest of the African continent.
Only years later would I move into my college dorm to meet an Indian, Chinese and Irish roommate (Talk about the United Nations)
Did all the films that I watched as a child ,essentially, help with my interaction with these people? Certainly! There were nights spent watching " Journey to the West" with XiuZhuo and arguments about the necessity of the dance scenes in "Jadoo" with Siddiqui . Yes , they served as common ground.
Basically these were the building blocks the relationships formed, and my awesomeness of course.
Ok a little digression: Can we discuss the poorly directed, overly dramatic and unnecessary extravagant Jackie Appiah and Michael Majid flicks?
Those films where Jackie Appiah/Nadia Buari play the role of a "Yankee" or "Lon-don" girl and their accents are as confused as their roles.
For instance, Nadia Buari would have just stepped out of Kotoka International Airport after spending 20 years of her life in New York. At the beginning of the movie, biddy would be unleashing her "Lon-don" slangs. A few scenes later , it becomes an American accent and then it reverts to her "innit' and things.
One can only imagine the palpitations that I get from watching those films.
Anyway enough about these kids. Back to me.
So now i'm thinking... thinking...
Folks,
I don't know what i'm thinking. I lost my train of thought. Typical .
