Fic Summary:

"They want us to attend a gala—an annual event that some of the biggest NGOs around the world put on.” Snake’s eye skimmed over the words as Kaz spoke. “A lot of money flies around at these things, and we’ve been promised a share if we help sell their pitch to potential donors.”

“How much is a lot?”

“Millions.”

That got Snake’s attention. Helicopter renovations could wait until after they had an extra million or two in their pockets. “We’ll send someone,” Snake nodded. “I’m sure we have men with political skills.”

A frown tugged at Kaz’s lip—more so than usual. He glanced at Ocelot, who leisurely stretched his hands behind his head in a smug lack of response. “There’s one problem with that, Boss.” He gestured toward the paper in Snake’s hand with a tilt of his head. “Second paragraph, third line. They’re specifically requesting ‘the president and senior-most officers’ of Diamond Dogs.”

Venom’s optimism soured. “Me, you, and Ocelot.”
