Hocus Pocus react to TikToks — PattyCake music video
After they'd had so much fun with their Stepsisters React video in the spring, the PattyCake guys decided to put together a collection of Hocus Pocus related content for their Sanderson Sisters' viewing pleasure. Between covers of "I Put A Spell On You" and "Come Little Children" from the movie in a variety of styles, incredible cosplayers, and even food art, these witches truly got an eyeful via their scrying cauldron. There's a little something for everyone.

My favorite bits:
Winnie incanting in verse
those lovely harmonies from the Sorelle girls
the campy day-glo dramatics in Garret's renditon
Layne being unable to pass up a carrot reference 🥕
Winnie's increasing frustration at the parade of "imposters"
the sisters' glee at Lauren being outside the house from the movie, and Sarah's sweet harmony
Mary's appreciation for the Sirens' vocal technique
the lush musical layers from Voctave and Rachel
Malinda's beautiful timbre and environmental reverb
the disdain in "I think one of you is satisfactory." 😒
surprise Kathy! 🧙♀️
"No screaming." ::shrieks::
Trivia:
PattyCake had put their own spin on "I Put A Spell On You" a few times. It was part of their "Hocus Heathens" mashup for Halloween in 2016. They recorded two audio versions of the song for an EP that accompanied their original "Into the Night" music video, and used one of them in a music video that was released a week after this one.
They have also created a few other other videos featuring the Sandersons, including a Taylor Swift mashup in "Look What You Made Me Brew", and cameos alongside other scary movie villains in "Bump in the Night".
This is Christina's first appearance as Mary in a PattyCake video, but she was already comfortable with the role, having played her in the Villains Spectacular show during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World for several years.
The American Sirens' clips are excerpts from their full Hocus Pocus medley that they'd released the week before. They autographed their spellbook prop and did a giveaway on social media.
The Sirens had also appeared in Stepsisters React, singing a jazzy rendition of "Tough Love".
Lindsay Flick Cardona from the Sirens and EJ Cardona from Voctave were married the previous October. They're also in several vocal groups together, including the Voices of Liberty at Disney World and gig band Element.
PattyCake had produced Malinda's video for "Don't Make Me" featuring Thomas Sanders two years earlier.
In the week leading up to this video's release, PattyCake uploaded teaser clips from several segments to their TikTok.
Layne and his VoicePlay bandmates collaborated with Lauren Paley the following year for a spoopy rendition of "Hide and Seek".
Kathy Najimy is the actress who played Mary Sanderson in both Hocus Pocus movies.
