Exploring Vodafone India Developer site
So now vodafone india turns in Mobile App player games. So as on its website www.partner.vodafone.in , the site mainly and promotes API for Monetizing apps using Vodafone Sand box API , which will be coming soon,
Vodafone Developer Portal
Vodafone Developer Portal allows developers to register for access to Network and Payment APIs and use these to build prototype applications or extensions to existing apps that include powerful mobile communications and monetization features. Any application or service, whether it runs in the web, on an enterprise server, in a SaaS cloud, on the desktop, or on the mobile device, can be enriched with communications, context and commercialization capabilities from the mobile network.
For example, a “Click To Conference” service could be added to an Enterprise Collaboration application, or a “Find my Friends” feature embedded into a Social Networking site. Vodafone’s Payment API allows developers to charge for their apps via the end-user’s mobile phone bill, with support for a variety of charging models such as one-time payments and subscriptions.
Vodafone Developer Portal includes a Forum for developer community collaboration, developer support, sample applications, guides on how to use the APIs, and access to both sandbox and (limited) live versions of the APIs for prototyping and testing.
So lets wait for the api to be up soon,
This is what we find it in resources :P , quite disappointing, but still as always mother god's rule,, wait wait till u get something :P and dont forget to ask for it :P
The Vodafone API Monetization Platform (AMP) exposes a variety of Web Services to enable application developers to leverage the capabilities within the telecoms network. To cater for the needs of application developers a selection of APIs are available, ranging from Vodafone sandbox APIs to Payment APIs.
APIs that are coming soon will allow application developers to send messages, locate terminals and make charges, as well as establish and control voice calls.
