@xxluluelix  Oh, yeah, he does. Which is a problem, because, creeper! Hydra! Slime!! I’m battling with his dialogue where he explains that the internal battle “UGH, NAZI!” and “Aww, Steve… ♥” basically makes him unable to can.

Obviously, I’m failing at clarity. XD

@vodka112 Oh, this thing is going WHERE IT WANTS, I’ve no control anymore, I swear. xD It was supposed to be a swift Bucky meets Hydra Steve + Hydra Steve is mean + Bucky is unimpressed but HURT + Steve to the resc–no, actually Steve thinks he’s coming to rescue but he’s ADDING TO THE CONFUSION AND HURT - Steve goes Eureka! - resolution. But we’re, like, 6000 words in, and Bucky is all “BUT THIS IS STEVE. Yeah, a disgusting Nazi scum version of Steve, but how am I supposed not to give my everything to protect STEVE?!?!?” and won’t let me write what I was supposed to write. What you suggest sounds interesting, but I’d probably fail so bad. xD Honestly, the way things are progressing in this fic, it seems the kind of story where *******SPOILER? sorta yes sorta no. It’s not like knowing that THAT is in the cards explains if there's a happy resolution******* the boys deserve a desperate, intense high-rated scene at the end to tie everything off nicely ******* END OF sorta SPOILER******* , but *nervous giggle* I’m terrible at writing that. 

We’ll see where this takes me. I’m basically going with the wind. *drifts off* But the first part of this *is* up! :D It’s on AO3 here:

In the wake of the final battle, Hydra Steve is put in a cell to rot. From there, he asks to see Bucky. Asks specifically for *him*, and for some reason he isn’t denied.

Steve isn’t okay with any of that.

So I was reading some awesome back issues (btw comxiology has a discount for Robin War which is an awesome anthology of single issues where everyone beats on Tim. I mean, where Robins fight each other.) and Jay was all "I bet he said you were the light to his darkness." Etc to Tim. he was such a jelly bab it hurt.

Point is, I kept getting this line in my head: “I bet he seduced you into being Robin.” And other gems like: He was playing with you. With all of us. Why would he want you when I’m here? The B/Jay was strong in that issue.

I scream when was it sent– i didn’t get any notifications– i only now saw it–

but oh my god Jason is the most jelly of all the Robins (expect Damian, I stg, Jay and Dami are alike, both tried to kill Tim, high five over that B^I)

But yes– jesus– Jason is forever bitter over Tim “replacing” him it’s awful i love him B^I

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

“I know you suffer from the same unfortunate affliction your predecessor does when it comes to keeping your mouth running, Jason, but I’m going to need you to show me that you can be a little bit smarter than that now.” Slade’s displeasure is evident in his voice. “This isn’t an offer I make casually, or to just anyone, understand?”

I just live for making Dick and Jason comparisons this way. It’s terrible for a piece that really has nothing to do with him overall, but I love every line I snuck into this fic that involves Dick, whether it’s from Slade himself or Jason sniping at Slade’s fascination with him XD

5: What part was hardest to write?

The fight and working out exactly how to get them into a situation where sex could be offered by Slade in a way that would be accepted by Jason. Definitely one of those #justgetonthetable2k17 situations where my desire to write shameless smut ended up turning into an unexpectedly lengthy buildup complete with character study.

7: Where did the title come from?

This is an example of one of those rare stories where the title came to me easily and I’m actually proud of it. It’s inspired both by the very first line of the fic, ‘His cheek is itching when he wakes up.’ and the overall theme of AK!Jason having all this repressed emotion/need locked up inside him that he eventually ends up finding an outlet for through Slade.
