My best costume is my Mello from Death Note that I did my senior year of high school (blonde wig, a black tank top, skinny jeans, and leather jacket; a rosary, and burn makeup using liquid latex that I'd worked to get how I liked for months), but my favorite one was Sally from Nightmare before Christmas (a mishmash of clothes from my closet- lots of floral prints- a cheap ginger wig, and stitches done with blue eyeshadow I borrowed from my mom) from when I was nine.

Those are both great looks!  For work by a prolific mangaka that also involves stitches, you should read the Junji Ito graphic adaptation of Frankenstein!  See if you can sleep again after seeing those illustrations!

Which version of Sympathy for the Devil do you prefer? Rolling Stones or Guns 'N Roses?

@vodkasquip Rolling Stones all the way! Their version has more of a....glee to it. Taking joy in being bad. I can relate as you might imagine. I think it was the perfect song to close the Movie That Was Actually Good.

"lookit this lil' guy. y'know what they call 'em? blind snake." it wouldn't be a walk through nature without billie commenting on some wild animal.

"c'mere. you wanna hold 'im? y'can't fuckin' drop him though. he's just a lil' guy, and it'll hurt 'im." she moves her hand closer to her chest, with its twin adding support for the animal. she eyes godric skeptically.

I would be the biggest liar if I said I don’t shamelessly stalk their blog from time to time. They channel Brienne in a way that I could never imagine and I really enjoy reading their interactions with all the other characters. I think that you can toss any kind of plot to them, be it angst, fluff, smut, crack... and they’ll just roll with it and make it enjoyable for everyone to read. Huge admirer, here.
