So basically Hayli and I started talking about this au and I’m very much about human dragons being dorks in love with little Gajeel just watching them like “get married already”. 

Gajeel’s shirt was a gift from Igneel and it says “Pretty Heavy Metal for a Two-Year-Old” lol

12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.

One, Voeda has some serious heart issues and also no fucks to give about it. She's kinda works under the thought "Welp, I'm fucking gonna die young anyways, might as well go out with a bang!"

Two, unlike Metalicana, she actually thinks Igneel is hilarious lol. They have a similar sense of humor at times, and Igneel is like the cool brother that will go cliff diving with her while Metalicana frets loudly in the background.

Three, she is the youngest daughter of the Queen of the Water Dragons. She left her nest when the first Dragon War started since none of her siblings wanted to take a side and she was very pro-human. She had a cliffside town that she defended for a while before moving on and eventually meeting Metalicana. That town actually still uses her image as kind of a guardian over their port.

Four, like all Water Dragons, Voeda has a secondary set of wings that she uses specifically for swimming. When she flies they're tucked up under her main wings. 

Five, in pretty much every au Voeda's in where she's Gajeel's biological mother, her genes kick the shit out of Metalicana's. Gajeel got his dad's height and build and some features, but his eyes, hair, cheekbones, snark, and tendency to mother people is aaaaaaaaall Voeda lol.

I'm going to be mean here... Voeda for 22, 27, and 28, but for 27 instead of parents substitute children.

22. Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

Voeda's very trusting, but she has her limits. She's a very good judge of character and she likes to think that it's better to give someone the benefit of the doubt and risk being hurt than to not risk anything at all, but also gain nothing. 

27. If your character had one thing to say to their parents child before they died, what would it be?

WELL FOR ONE FUCK YOU

Two, basically this (alSO FUCK YOU HAYLI. FUCK ALL OF YOU. FUCK ME FOR KILLING HER. FUCK US ALL.)

"Let your heart guide you, my sweet boy. It whispers, and sometimes the world drowns it out, so listen well. What do you think dragons have such good ears for?" 

28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?

Voeda's known since she was very young that she would probably die very young because she hatched too soon and had some pretty serious heart problems. She actually lived longer than she expected to (She was the dragon equivalent to 21 when she and Metalicana met and roughly in her 40's when she died), so the main regret she had was leaving Gajeel and Metalicana behind.

21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why? - Voeda

you're the worst and i hate you this is hard

Um, crap. Well one, she would wish for her health because she doesn't want to die and leave her boys on their own. 

Two, she would wish for Gajeel to have more human friends because she feels guilty for taking him away from his kind even though Gajeel promises he's happier with the dragons. 

The third wish would be a huge spoiler for nest fic so too baaaaaaad (No I'm not coping out I know exactly what it is)

6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?

Voeda's unofficial-official theme song is Funeral Bell by Phildel because I hate myself and enjoy causing myself pain.

Besides that, "Once Around the Riverbend", "Bigger Than My Body", and "Young and Beautiful (Hotel Sayre Orchestral)" are some of the one's that first come to mind. metalicana/Hayli made a Voeda playlist that's awesome a while back :DDDD

23 ~ Voeda

23. Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?

Voeda is super affectionate holy god. She and Metalicana never left the honeymoon phase they just cuddle and tease each other all the time. Metalicana has this habit of tugging on her ear and she retaliates by huffing air between his scales tHEY'RE GOOOOOOOOOOBS

Metalicana's not prone to large romantic gestures, but he shows he cares by little gestures and making sure that Voeda and Gajeel are both happy and taken care of. Voeda understands these gestures for what they are and in return she offers Metalicana the understanding and patience and love that that ridiculous asshole needs lol. 

But seriously they love each other so much and I'm a total mess and I have no one to blame but myself.
