BULLY OC BLACK AND WHITE YEARBOOK PHOTOS ❤️. (Vohns is an old-ish one from when he used to go to Bullworth.)

Some stuff about them!! Just a little thing about their future/what they want to be. But… i’m gonna ramble some more in this post, just some info about how or why they arrived at Bullworth in the first place!

Marcus-

Marcus arrived at Bullworth for a couple of reasons, but they all really tie together. He was a homeschooled little rich boy up until his early high school years, so Bullworth was a complete 180 from what he was used to. Being an already anti-social child, plus being homeschooled for most of his education did not help his steadily declining care for social interaction. His father noticed this (a little late, however) and after long discussions… Marcus was sent off to Bullworth. It was less of a punishment, his father said, and more of a way to meet other people, something out of his normalcy— ‘troubled’ kids of different backgrounds, and such. Marcy couldn’t disagree more.

Rudy-

Rudy is a little bit of the opposite, he was sent there for ‘disciplinary’ reasons. It was a way to keep him in line. His parents sent him to Bullworth because they already assumed the worst for his future. Sure, Rudy was an easily peer pressured kid, got into a bit of trouble over acting like a jackass because his friends did—some times going out to loiter in some random country hicks part of the woods, which inevitably got him and his shitty friends caught. Eventually, his mistakes added up one by one and his parents felt like they’ve lost control of him. So, a strict boarding school was the best way to go. Plus, extra time away from home.

Vohn-

Vohn obviously didn’t stay in Bullworth for too long, but he came for a bit of a ‘re-start’ of sorts. Once his mother got a new higher paying job, they took that chance to send him to somewhere different—Bullworth seemed pretty fine. His school life had always been a little rougher, making friends was just about as hard as finding a piece of hay in a needle stack at his old school, and Bullworth was just about the same in the end. Vohn became more homesick whilst stuck in the boys dorms, that combined with regular high-school burn out KILLED him. It was not the freshest of starts.

Vohn has received a gift, he finally got his grimy hands on a camera. (It’s Jimmys. but, since he’s already aced photography, he’s had no real need for it. Vohn got a little hand-me-down.)

The difference between my two anti-social oc’s! A little informational post. I need to get me a damn computer to write all this stuff down on, but instead I type like a madman with my two fat thumbs. Good god this is a long post of just ramblings.

Other people (Some people) in Bullworth academy typically carry the misconception that Marcus is just a shy, or a socially awkward person… or just an asshole… ok that one is a little more true. It’s an easy assumption to make from an outside perspective, if he’s never spoken to you. Given his avoidance towards any social interaction possible… But, while some bits and pieces of that are true, it’s not the case.

Marcus’ anti-social personality comes from something that runs deeper than just regular introvert ‘tendencies’. A judgmental and typically pessimistic outlook on society comes almost naturally to him.

So, what I wanted to say with this, is that with his non-existent need to be involved in social situations, his distaste for others, it comes from social anhedonia. Well, some form of it. Which, is typically seen as the opposite of social anxiety when it comes to the anti-social side of things. People who usually have social anhedonia don’t feel emotionally attached to regular, everyday social interactions, so they don’t feel the need to worry about how they are perceived, while social anxiety disorders revolve more around those aspects. (I am no psychologist obviously! just a guy who loves looking into these things. so if this stuff is wonky, i apologize 😭.)

Social Anhedonia can come from a lot of different sources, usually from more paranoid disorders. Like, i’ve mentioned Marcy has OCD before, which can correlate to schizotypal behaviors/personality disorders.

Marcus doesn’t think everyone is against him, no, not really. But, his biggest fear is just that. His lengths of paranoia don’t go as far as Gary’s, but that’s probably just because he is a medicated man.—

And, despite what some people gossip about, Marcus does care for people. Big shocker. He has a thing where he could feel lots of empathy for someone or none at all—it all just depends on the person.

Alright… now that THAT freak is disclosed, i’m gonna talk a little about Vohn.

So, like what i said earlier about Marcus and social anhedonia, Vohn would be kind of the opposite spectrum of that. His issues kind of focus more around anxieties. Is it a crazy shock that he has social anxiety?

It’s basically that, except that it just ties into something else, because social anxiety and anxiety in general can create a whole path full of social struggles in the end. This ‘struggle’ for him is primarily AVPD, which is avoidant personality disorder. It usually occurs in people who feel insecure in social situations, being somewhat related to social anxiety more than just social anhedonia.

Vohn is the opposite of Marcy, he actually wants more social interaction, he wishes he was more open. He sees the world around him more positively than he actually puts out, well— sorta. He thinks (knows) that putting himself in more social situations would be good for him. To him, it’s better to get to know the people he’s around before he can’t.

Vohn feels things much deeper than Marcus, and it’s not that Marcus doesn’t feel— he just has a more black and white way of thinking when he handles his own emotions. While Vohn likes to think and talk through them. Or, he’ll take some creative liberties and express his stuggles through art. Even if it doesn’t come out like he wants.

I feel like their quotes may not be the most realistic to an actual SCHOOL, given that i don’t think Bullworth would allow a student to submit something hating on their own school experience… But, whaateverrr. We’re ignoring that. (Color coding again!! Marcus, Rudy, Vohn.)

WOAH! Ok hello amazing person. This is a really great ask, I’ve actually thought about this a little bit before so I have come prepared to answer! (Trying to link songs might look silly, so I hope this turns out right lolll. These songs are either gonna be related to them by lyrics or just overall vibe.)

Rudy first! I was stuck on like five billion songs for this, so this one is kind of tough. But… I’m gonna put two.. because i’m indecisive. I put these two because they are a little contradictory, and i think that kinda shows his personality? haha?

This one for Vohn!! If i’m being completely fair this whole album kind of reminds me of him. But this song in particular, just with the lyrics.

For Marcus I’d say this song, It’s one of the closer ones that i can see correlate to him, just pure bitterness. Plus this type of music is his style:
