<p>RCB finally came to the party with the bat. Gayle scored 7 sixes in monumental innings wherein he completed 10K T20 runs. Thats stunning feat. Kohli scored another fifty. Head and Jadhav hit some lusty blows to take RCB to 213. RCb weakness in bowling was dealt a blow before the match as Badree was found unfit. Chahal started brilliantly for RCB as he dismissed Smith. McCullum and Raina then started gaining pace. After just hitting 4 in first 2 overs, 45 was hit in next 3 overs. Against the run of play after 8 ball 23 cameo, Raina was dismissed by Chahal McCullum though continued to change gears as he hit boundary of almost every over to keep run rate under some amount of control. But wickets kept falling at other end. Finch and Karthik got out cheaply. That put pressure on McCullum. 77 was needed from 33. He had to take risk and chose Chahal as the bowler which backfired. He was caught at square leg boundary. That ended Lions hopes. Though Ishan and Jadeja hit some blows, they were way behind run rate . Lions eventyally lost by 21 runs.RCb finally win a match. Maxwell followed soon after Afghan players Nabi and Rashid then shocked Punjab middle order as Morgan, Miller and saha were dismissed inside 12 balls. From 57-2, Punjab were erduced to 62-5. Vohra was playing a lone hand. He upped the ante in the 2nd half as he clobbered Rashid and Sran out of the attack. 56 was needed of last 5 overs but only 4 wickets was left. SO it was all down to Bhuvi vs Vohra. Vohra hit Rashid for 19 runs in 46th over. Bhuvi dismissed Mohit in 4th over. It came down to 16 of 12 balls. Bhuvi was given penultimate over and he bowled a gem. His yorkers was game changing. He castled Cariappa first and then trapped Vohra in front. Vohra's 95 was knock of the IPL so far which had 9 fours and 5 sixes. He almost single handedly took Punjab to a famous victory. Though Ishant and Sandeep tried hard, Kaul wrapped Punjab by castling Ishant. SRH woon by 5 runs. Bhuvi's 5-fer spell was the difference between the 2 teams.</p>
<p>In champions league, Real Madrid had 2-1 lead from first leg of the QF. Bayern Munich came back strongly in 2nd leg. Match ended 0-0 at half time and Bayern munich took 2-1 lead by end of full time. So it was 3-3 in aggregate. Match went to extra time which real won in style. Ronaldo completed his hatrick. It was also his 100th championship goal. Just to put to perspective, He has more goals than Athletic Madrid have scoerd in entire championship league history. But there was drama before final whistle . Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal's harsh 84th-minute dismissal was the first pivotal moment of a thrilling game.Chile midfielder Vidal, already booked for an early foul on the edge of the Bayern area, was shown a second yellow card for what appeared to be a clean sliding tackle on Madrid substitute Asensio. Bayern coach was not at all impressed with the refree. But Real are in SF and have golden chance to win champions league twice in as many years which no team has done it so far. In other QF, Athetio Madrid beat Leicester City 2-1 on aggregate. ENglish etam found hard and played better than Spanish team in 2nd half but it was way too late. </p>
<p>Clay season has started in tennis in Monte Carlo open. Djokovic who was making comeback after injury was made to sweat as Simon was sreving for the match in 3rd set at 5-4 but choked . Djoker grabbed the oppurtinity and won 7-5 in the end. Simon had won 2nd set after losing the opening set. Tsonga lost in 3 tough sets to Mannarino. Nadal won first set 6-0 against Edmund but lost rhythm to lose 2nd set 5-7. But he held his nerve to win the finals et 6-3. Murray and Berdych won tough first round matches against Muller and Haas respectively. Cilic and Zverev also won comfortably.</p>
