Even though I have loved Rocky Horror for several years now, this song was only just brought to my attention last night. It’s not in the movie, but I was watching a bootleg live performance of it. Of course the whole show is hilarious and ridiculous and insane, so when this song started I was pretty sure it was going to end in 30 seconds or turn into a dirty joke or something and was pleasantly surprised to hear just this… Legit, beautiful, sad break up song. It also helps that the guy on this recording, Jarrod Emick, has an absolutely beautiful voice.

I just watched this old Australian version of Pirates of Penzance having never seen it before but it was simultaneously amazing and ridiculous and Mabel's sisters were like the Shuyler sisters before it was cool And the end is a ridiculous mega mix . And I have a voice crush on the guy who played Fredrick.

Oh wow this guy's voice is perfect in a Shakespearean sort of way. He's like one of those lovelorn young men in Shakespeare or certain musicals.
