What happened?

College happened. I got really behind schedule and let a lot of projects I was working on fall to the wayside, and unfortunately, this project was one of them. In light of recent life events, however, I've gotten everything sorted out, and I’ll be able to start working on it yet again. Expect to see something soon. In the meanwhile, were still accepting auditions for most every part besides John, Rose, and Dave (jade’s still up for grabs outside of Act 1), so feel free to send us an email! Again, my apologies for getting caught up in other things. ~Mod Cypher (PS: Expect some changes in layout and whatnot. Time for an overhaul.)

Looking for Jade

Continuing our tradition as being the luckiest Voice Acting Group this side of the Incipisphere, we are down another voice actress: This time for the role of Jade Harley. So, we are having a rushed form of auditioning right now for that part: From 12:00 PM EST  today (Friday 16 Jan 2015) until 12:00 PM EST next week (Friday 23 Jan 2015), we will be taking your auditions for the Witch of Space. and a week after that (Friday 30 Jan 2015) we will officially announce who got the part. what kind of recording quality are you looking for?

I apologise for not seeing this until just now! If this was in regards to the Rose audition, let me know in private (come off anon), and we can probably figure something out.In any event, for auditions, we're pretty much looking for any kind of passable quality-- pretty much anything that doesn't sound like it was recorded on a potato. The Search for a Seer 12/4/14

Hello all, and welcome back to our project. First things first I would like to recognize the date of little Rose Lalonde's birth. It is always great to remember the little details about the characters we've come to love from Hussie's monster, but I digress.

Through a series of events, our program's original voice actor for Rose has become unable to continue participating. So it is at this point that I would like to officially put out a call for auditions for the part of Miss Lalonde. All auditions for her role are due one week from today, 12/11/14, and the head members of the project will have a decision made for the part one week from that date, 12/18/14. After the decision is made, we will make an announcement and contact our choice so as to begin recording lines. The audition content information has been listed on this blog prior, and soon after posting this I shall add in a link to said post.

GENERAL AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Firstly: In the subject line, you MUST include your name and what project you are auditioning for (example: Mod Cypher Homestuck Audition)

To be considered for a role in Voicekind, you are required to…

Have a Skype

Be at least 15 (fifteen) years old, or close to that age

Have a secondary form of contact (eg, email, facebook, twitter, etc)

To create a proper audition for Voicekind, you must include…

Your first and last name (and pseudonym, if desired)

Your Age

The name of the character you wish to act as- you may preform a maximum of three (3) characters

Two to Three (2 to 3) monologues spoken in that character’s voice, with a minimum of two (2) minutes

The monologue as an attachment, or a link to the monologue (no prank links, please. If you send a prank link, you will be disregarded for any future projects)

Some things you may want to include, but are optional in the initial e-mail…

General location (Country, time zone, etc.)

When you would be able to record/send in lines.

Other things (recording equipment, likes, dislikes, etc.)

Your taste in brunch

Important Information Upd8

Hello everyone, sorry for the quietness on our front, we've had some technical difficulties. In related news, our group is now down a voice actor, and she was playing a very important role in the story. This role is the role of the Seer of Light, Rose Lalonde.

Seeing as we need a replacement ASAP, auditions for Rose Lalonde are now open-- when we get ten a good amount auditions, you will have a week from then in order to finish sending them in. I will link to the post regarding auditions, other roles and guidelines later on in the day, but for now, send us your best auditions!
