Tried my hand at archery and had a hard time looking for where my arrow landed. 🙂 Met our para archers, Nur Syahidah Binte Alim (who will also be our flag-bearer at the Games) and Robert Fuchs, last Saturday at their training session for the 2018 Asian Para Games. Both of them will be making their debut at the Games, and have been training intensively with Coach Rachel between four and six times per week. Syahidah has been training full-time under the Singapore Sports Institute’s spexScholarship programme, while Robert has been clocking the training hours after work on weekdays and Saturdays. Both are them are determined to give the Games their best shot, and do Singapore proud.
