What is the rw au where Saint is wearing a blindfold about?

Guess who finally got around to this! Apologies in advance, I'm really bad at explaining things.

The Saint wearing the blindfold (who I simply call void Saint) isn't really Saint. Void saint is a creature of the void, they materialized out of it.

Real Saint lost his arm somehow and it ended up in the void sea. Void fluid clung onto said arm and kinda went rogue. And that's how void saint came to be. Is this a weird explanation to give Saint an evil doppelganger? Maybe, but do I care? No. However void saint can't sustain itself very long outside the void sea. The solution to that problem, steal the life out of living organisms leaving behind a shriveled up corpse just by making eye contact. (The process is simple to that one scene from the dark Crystal).

Void saint is technically not a living creature. Nor does it have any feelings, and that causes problems. Void saint gets mistaken for a slugcat all the time by real slugcats, but doesn't think or act like a slugcat. In fact he see slugcats as nothing more then "food". It only tolerates slugcats and pretends to be one because having one follow it around makes for great back up foul if it can't find anything better.

Void saint looks almost identical to real Saint. This causes problems for real Saint when he runs across slugcats / scavengers who have been traumatized by void saint. Real Saint has no idea why they run away in fear or get really aggressive with him.

How to tell void saint and real Saint apart.

Void saint - has a blindfold, has weird cheek/chin pigtails, cheek fur is a darker green at the end.

Real Saint - had obnoxiously long cheek fur that is braided, missing an arm.
